Pop up playgroup with Tinyeri Children's Centre tomorrow!

UPDATE -

Due to the forecasted temperature on Wednesday, we won’t be able to hold the pop-up playgroup at the Nature Playground as planned. But the great news is, we’ve rescheduled it for tomorrow!

It was wonderful to see both familiar and new faces at this morning’s pop-up playgroup. We can’t wait to see you all again tomorrow, Tuesday the 6th, at Nature Playground, West Terrace from 9:30am. See you there!

During the hot weather, please remember to check-in with vulnerable or isolated loved ones and encourage them to register for the Australian Red Cross TeleRedi service.

We activate the service during a declared , which sees registered people called daily to ensure they’re coping with the extreme weather. If a call goes unanswered or if someone is in distress, an emergency procedure is activated to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

TeleRedi supports people who may be more vulnerable during extreme heat, including those who live alone, older people, people with disability, mental illness, recovering from illness or injury, and people with ongoing health conditions.

This is a community event inviting residents to come along for a coffee and a chat with members of South Australia Police. This month, meet the Water Operations Team who will be attending to chat about the work they perform.
