What an amazing way to enjoy the beautiful weather! Our residents loved the fresh air, stunning views, and the joy of cycling together on today’s Trishaw adventure.
While this is the last ride for now, the Trishaws will be back next year for more fun and freedom on the open road!

On this day in 1926 we opened Melbourne’s first after care home to provide transitional care for people of all ages after a hospital stay. MDNS President Jessie Henderson described the hospital as “a new expression of an old need”. Today, we’re still finding new ways to meet community needs, from our parenting, birth and baby telephone helpline to telehealth, home and community support and in our retirement villages and aged care homes.

Last Tuesday, our residents and staff came together to celebrate the race that stops the nation! It was a day filled with laughter, beautiful hats, friendly sweeps, and plenty of delicious treats.
One of the highlights was the annual staff race, which our residents absolutely loved cheering on—it brought so much excitement and smiles all around!
Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and made the day so special. Moments like these remind us how wonderful it is to share joy and community spirit. 💐✨

🌺 Remembrance Day Reflections at Heritage Lodge 🌺
Today, Heritage Lodge paused to honour the bravery and sacrifice of those who served our country. Our spaces were thoughtfully adorned with poppies — a symbol of remembrance and hope — creating a meaningful atmosphere for reflection.
At 11am, residents and staff joined together in a minute’s silence to pay tribute to our veterans and fallen heroes.
Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special.
