🐴✨ A little introduction for those new to Urban Equine & Urban Trails ✨🐴
For those that don’t know me, I’m Tracey Mallia — the face behind Urban Equine Therapy & Urban Trails.
Horses have always been my life. From a young age I was completely horse obsessed, and that passion has grown into not only working with horses every day, but helping them perform, recover, rehabilitate, and thrive both mentally and physically.
Over the years I’ve developed Urban Equine into a multi-modality equine therapy and rehabilitation service, combining practical horse knowledge with advanced technology and hands-on treatment approaches to help horses move and feel their best.
My passion lies in identifying compensation patterns, soreness, muscular issues, movement restrictions, and performance limitations before they become major injuries — while also helping horses recover stronger following injury or workload stress.
At Urban Equine we work with a wide range of horses from western performance horses, ranch, trail, and pleasure horses through to eventers, show jumpers, racehorses, and pleasure horses.
Services include:
▫️ Gait Analysis & Biomechanics
▫️ Thermography/Thermal Imaging
▫️ Shockwave Therapy
▫️ Cryotherapy
▫️ PEMF & PEMA Therapy including the Kloud system
▫️ Medkey Neuromodulation
▫️ Saddle Mapping & Saddle Fit Analysis
▫️ Hands-on muscle and fascia work
▫️ Rehabilitation & recovery support
We commonly assist with:
▫️ Muscle soreness & compensation
▫️ Back pain & tightness
▫️ Soft tissue injuries
▫️ Tendon & ligament rehabilitation
▫️ Recovery after competition
▫️ Poor performance
▫️ Behaviour linked to discomfort
▫️ General maintenance & mobility
I’m a big believer that every horse is different, which means no single therapy suits every horse or every condition. That’s why I use a combination of technologies and treatment systems tailored to the individual horse and their workload, injury, personality, and goals.
Urban Equine is also proudly based alongside Urban Trails — Australia’s largest mountain trail course — allowing horses to not only rehabilitate physically, but also mentally through confidence building, movement, and partnership work.
Whether your horse is an elite athlete, a paddock companion, or somewhere in between, my goal is always the same:
✨ To help them move better, feel better, and perform at their full potential.
