⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Client Review

Tracey is unbelievably knowledgeable and skilled in all aspects of horse rehabilitation, biomechanics, and care.

Every time I bring my horse in for treatment, it’s more than just a session — it’s a complete “whole horse” check-in. Tracey takes the time to assess how everything is progressing and shares valuable insights along the way.

She has a very practical yet calming approach with horses and seems to instinctively know how to handle even the more spirited or anxious ones, making treatments in a new environment stress-free and effective.

I always leave feeling confident that my horse has the best opportunity to continue building strength — and I walk away with a whole new level of knowledge myself.

Recently, my horse was struggling with an abscess. Despite veterinary care, there was little improvement, and the swelling and heat in the leg persisted for weeks. Tracey recommended specific hoof products and a management approach, and within 24 hours we saw a radical improvement.

I am absolutely delighted with the results and cannot speak highly enough of Tracey. Money very well spent.

Thanks Gen

🧠🐎 Gadget Girl Farriery Moment – Let’s Talk Biomechanics

This horse is currently dealing with 3rd carpal bone disease, so the goal today was reducing concussion, improving breakover, and stabilising the limb.

What you’re looking at is a Natural Balance shoe with a lateral extension.

Now here’s where the biomechanics gets interesting.

🔹 Natural Balance Shoe
These shoes are designed to bring the breakover point further back under the foot, which means the horse can leave the ground earlier and with less leverage through the limb.

Why does that matter?

Because every extra millisecond the toe is stuck on the ground creates more torque travelling up the limb — straight into the carpus.

For a horse with 3rd carpal bone disease, that extra stress is something we want to reduce as much as possible.

🔹 Lateral Extension
Notice the extra width on the outside branch of the shoe.

That extension helps support the limb laterally and control rotation through the hoof capsule.

Think of it like widening the base of a table leg —
the wider the base, the more stable the structure above it becomes.

In this case it helps:
✔ Stabilise the limb during loading
✔ Reduce excessive lateral collapse
✔ Support the joints higher up the leg

🔬 This is where farriery becomes biomechanics.

Tiny changes at the foot can dramatically change how forces travel through the limb.

And when you combine correct shoeing, therapy, training adjustments, and good management, you give horses with conditions like this the best chance of staying comfortable and functional.

Because the hoof isn’t just a foot…

It’s the foundation of the entire limb.

Gadget girl loves this stuff.

✨ Urban Equine Workshop – Expression of Interest✨

Hi everyone,

I’d love to gauge interest. We had an event planned but numbers didn’t support it.

Stop treating pieces — start understanding the whole horse. Learn how movement, feet, and body systems connect to drive performance, soundness, and long-term results.

🔍 What we’ll cover:
• Gait analysis – understanding movement and what your horse is telling you
• Hoof balance – how the foot influences the entire body
• Shockwave therapy
• Kloud (PEMA) treatments
• Medkey neuromodulation
• Cryotherapy
• PEMF

This isn’t just about learning what to use — it’s about understanding why, when, and how to choose the right tool for the right horse.

🐴 We’ll be connecting the dots between:
Movement ➡️ Posture ➡️ Hoof balance ➡️ Nervous system ➡️ Performance

Supportive, hands-on, and straight to the point — real demos, real answers, and knowledge you’ll actually use.

Whether you’re an owner, rider, or industry professional — this is about giving you the confidence to make better decisions for your horse.

📩 If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, comment below or send me a message so I can get an idea of numbers. And get it off the ground !

Today’s Kloud demonstration featured the very stylish Imperial Black Tie — proving once again that this incredible technology isn’t just for the big performance horses — we treat ponies too! 🙌

Huge congratulations to Donna, the proud new owner of her state-of-the-art Kloud system direct from Switzerland 🇨🇭⚡

During the demo we covered:

✅ Correct Kloud fitting and balance
✅ Program selection and timing
✅ Treatment before & after work
✅ Comfort signs to watch for
✅ How to tailor sessions for smaller bodies and ponies

Imperial Black Tie stood like a pro and soaked it all up — relaxed, settled, and clearly enjoying the session.

Big horse, small horse, performance horse, pony — the Kloud scales beautifully to suit them all.

🤠 Why Western Riders Especially Need This

Western saddles are often:
• Heavier
• Longer in skirt
• Built on fixed trees
• Marketed as “one size fits many”
• Rarely checked once purchased

Common myths in the western world:
❌ “He’s just lazy”
❌ “She doesn’t like collection”
❌ “That’s just her stiff side”
❌ “He’s cold backed”
❌ “He’s being naughty”

Often the real issue is:
👉 the saddle is restricting the shoulder
👉 pressure behind the scapula
👉 bridging across the back
👉 too much pressure over the loins
👉 imbalance that affects leads, stops, turns and softness

And western disciplines demand a LOT from horses:
• Reining
• Cutting
• Ranch
• Western pleasure
• Trail
• Stock horse
• Campdrafting
• Long hours in the saddle

If the saddle doesn’t fit, performance suffers — and so does longevity.

💡 Why book a saddle mapping session with me?

Because I don’t just assess saddle fit in isolation.

I bring:
✔️ Saddle mapping
✔️ Gait analysis
✔️ Therapy insight (Kloud, PEMF, shockwave, cryo, Medkey)
✔️ Biomechanics understanding
✔️ Real-world performance horse experience
✔️ Farrier knowledge through my husband’s remedial work
✔️ A whole-horse approach

That means clients don’t just get:
“Your saddle doesn’t fit.”

They get:
“Here’s what we’re seeing. Here’s why your horse is moving like that. Here’s how we can support improvement.”

✨ Powerful way to phrase it for clients

Your saddle should support your horse’s performance — not limit it.
Mapping allows us to see what your horse is feeling but cannot say.

Behaviour problems are often communication problems.
Saddle mapping helps us listen.

The Hills Saddle Mapping System allows me to visually assess how your saddle is interacting with your horse’s back — identifying pressure points, imbalance, restriction and poor weight distribution that often go unnoticed. Many issues blamed on training, attitude or stiffness are actually caused by discomfort. For western horses especially, where saddles are heavier and workloads are demanding, proper fit is critical to performance, soundness and longevity. Combined with my experience in gait analysis and therapy, saddle mapping gives you clear answers — not guesswork

Kloud !!!

Why Program Choice Matters

Not all horses need the same support 💭
Kloud isn’t a “one button fits all” system — each program supports the body differently, depending on what your horse needs that day.

From calming anxious horses to supporting recovery and circulation, choosing the right program can make all the difference 🐴✨

🐴✨ New Year’s Eve = Busy Barn, Happy Horses ✨🐴

What a way to finish the year… a full morning of horses rugged up in the KLOUD and letting their bodies reset before stepping into the New Year feeling their best.

The KLOUD isn’t just about relaxation — it’s about:
✔️ Supporting muscle recovery
✔️ Improving circulation
✔️ Helping tired, sore or tight horses unwind
✔️ Preparing bodies for the work ahead

Whether your horse has been spelling, competing, travelling, or just carrying a bit of tension, starting the year with a treatment gives them the best possible foundation moving forward.

💫 Why book your horse in for the New Year?
Because prevention is better than repair.
Because a comfortable horse moves better, trains better, and feels better.
Because they give us everything — they deserve the same in return.

📅 Bookings now open for the New Year
Give your horse a genuine kick-start to 2026 and set them up for a strong, comfortable season ahead.

Message me to secure a spot — spaces fill quickly 🖤
Here’s to happy horses, healthy bodies, and a big year ahead ✨

✨ Red Light Therapy for Horses – Supporting Healing, Naturally ✨

We’ve been trialling red light therapy equipment as part of our equine care toolkit, and the benefits are impressive.

Red light therapy works by delivering specific wavelengths of light deep into tissues, helping to stimulate cellular activity and support the body’s natural healing processes — non-invasive, drug-free and relaxing for the horse.

🔴 Benefits of Red Light Therapy for Horses:
• Supports muscle recovery and reduces soreness
• Aids circulation and oxygen delivery to tissues
• Helps manage inflammation and stiffness
• Assists with tendon, ligament and soft-tissue healing
• Promotes relaxation and overall wellbeing
• Can be used pre-work, post-work or during rehabilitation

Horses often visibly relax during sessions — lowering their head, softening through the body, and simply enjoying the treatment. It’s gentle enough for regular use and effective enough to be part of a serious performance or rehab program.

Whether you’re managing a performance horse, a rehab case, or simply want to support your horse’s comfort and longevity, red light therapy is a powerful addition to modern equine care.

⚙️🐴 Medkey for the Performance Horse – Precision, Regulation & Results 🐴⚙️

Medkey is an advanced frequency-based therapy designed to support the neuromuscular, cellular and regulatory systems of the performance horse.

Unlike modalities that apply mechanical force or external energy, Medkey works via bioresonance and information medicine, identifying incoherent frequency patterns associated with stress, overload, compensation or dysfunction — and feeding back a corrected signal to support self-regulation at a cellular level.

This makes Medkey particularly valuable for elite and competition horses, where small inefficiencies matter.

🦴 Performance applications include:
• Subtle gait asymmetries
• Reduced impulsion or engagement
• Back, neck & SI restriction
• Incomplete recovery between workloads
• Recurring “sound but not right” presentations
• Nervous system overload affecting performance

🧠 Why this matters for performance
High-level horses often compensate extremely well. By the time lameness is visible, the issue is no longer small.

Medkey targets:
✔ Neuromuscular signalling
✔ Autonomic nervous system balance
✔ Cellular communication & recovery pathways
✔ Low-grade inflammation and stress load

This supports cleaner movement patterns, improved recovery and more consistent performance.

🔬 Why book a Medkey session?
• Non-invasive & competition-safe
• Ideal for sensitive or reactive horses
• Useful when imaging shows no clear pathology
• Complements gait analysis, PEMF, physio & veterinary programs
• Supports long-term soundness, not just symptom management

🐎 What to expect
Sessions are calm, quiet and well tolerated. Horses frequently show parasympathetic responses such as head lowering, yawning, licking and chewing — indicators of nervous system regulation.

For performance horses, Medkey is best used:
• Pre-competition
• During high training loads
• Post-injury or rehab
• When chasing marginal gains

If your horse is working at a level where details matter, Medkey can be a valuable part of a structured performance management program.

📩 Bookings essential — limited appointments available.
Message to secure a session or to discuss integrating Medkey into your horse’s performance plan.
