Our western numerological 8 year would encourage us to take haste, to work hard and reap rewards!... Though you look to the east, and our counterparts of a 15 year, would warn us to watch our tongues and beware of addictions.

🌝Full Moon in Pisces 🌝♓️ ; Peaking 31st of August at 11:35am. Super Moon, and Blue Moon
🌝 Super Moon – The way the Moon travels around the Earth is in an oval shape, and a Super Moon is when the Moon is at it’s closest to the Earth.
🌕Blue Moon – This has nothing to do with the moon’s colour, and more about the fact that it’s the second full moon in a single month.
⭐️Please Remember; the energy of the moon can still be utilized 12 hours pre and post the peak. Thus both the night of the 30th and 31st of August can be acknowledged for this full moon.⭐️
This is the first full moon in Pisces since Saturn moved into Pisces – and thus any plans/structures we put in place since March 2023 is being highlighted for all it’s benefits and challenges that need to be addressed.
Full Moons are times that I direct people to take action, and with Saturn by it’s side – it’s not a time to be harsh with ourselves, but a time to be honest. Think of a loving parent or grandparent that is giving us the honest truth we denied ourselves, but it is all spoken out of love.
Are the things we committing to, or are the daily actions we take helping us feel like we are growing and maturing? Are we developing into the people that we want to be?
Our dreams can be telling us a lot lately, with the Full Moon and Saturn in Pisces – Allow yourself to dream big and cleanse away any fears that you hold, and any stories that don’t belong to you. There isn’t a big message today, as this is a time for you to allow your intuition to shine through. 🌺🥰

With Venus in retrograde, a great practice I have been doing this week in the theme of relationships is the practice of Ho'Oponopono 🌺

There are 4 phrases in the prayer. I say a full prayer with intent to each person, self and the greater energy. (Repeating towards the same person or self where and when necessary)

🦁🌚New Moon in Leo 🌚♌️ - Peaking for us on Wednesday Night (16/8/2023), at 7:38pm

Once again, New Moons are great time and reminder for introspection.

Coming out of the “Lion’s Gate Portal”, I hope we managed to seek out clarity on our personal power –this New Moon is a great time to decompress and integrate any lessons from the past 2 weeks. Go easy on yourself and others, its like learning to walk on new legs!

With this, we have the Sun in Leo, beside our star is a Venus that is retrograde. It’s all about healing relationships… all relationships. This could be romantically, with friends and family or simply just the relationship with ourself. The Leo aspect still highlighting where to heal how we identify ourselves in those relationships. I picture it like, “here is my light, there is your light… and here is where our light overlaps”, Hoorah! Though, as you shine a light, you will also cast a shadow – where healing is needed?

Have you had any lessons or insights come up lately?

Feeling called to share, I had a great lesson with self and an unhealthy relationship with anxious drive/motivation. Accepting that despite the healing… there will always be a shadow to learn or heal from. That is the journey of living, and if you “accomplish” all that there is to be, then you would literally have nothing to live for. Purpose grows and changes, so when one goal is achieved, another will always reveal itself and may even overlap the previous goal/purpose… and with that, I had to sit with the anxious thought and feeling of “always being behind”, is actually okay and it is normal. Instead of the anxious drive to “always complete the goal”, I can embrace the big picture perspective like a blending of seasons.

Astrologically, the world is a bit like an episode of a day time drama. So lets add a bit of fun 😋

🦁Lion’s Gate 🦁
Every year, there is an alignment with Earth and the constellations of Sirius and Orion. This happens from Late July till Early August, and the date of 8/8 is considered the most potent of days for this period.

2023 Lions Gate Portal – 26th or July till 12th of August

When I say potent, I would describe it as a time when the meaning/manifestation attached to Lion’s gate is easier to access, as there is a growing crowd that creates a global energy and intention to support the celebration of this specific day. Add to this, the number 8/8 repeated everywhere, and we have a concoction of amplified energy.

We call this the Lion’s Gate Portal, as it falls in the time of Leo. My personal interpretation of this, is this is allowing people to dig deep within themselves to find who they are at a core essence. We are engaging our “solar plexus” center, and lighting the lantern to express who we are. To do this, we access our higher selves, seeking our spiritual purpose and Dharma in this life.

For me, the amusement is when we are more in our Dharma, the easier things in life manifests. It almost feels like magic, but in reality, it was always your calling. You can stray from your Dharma, there are lessons to learn on these off-shoot journeys, that is what it means to be human.

I invite you to recall back to yourself, into your higher being, and use this time to find alignment. The choice to focus on ego desires, is … a choice, and can just be us succumbing to ego.

🌝Super Full Moon in Aquarius🌝♒️, Peaking for us on the 2nd of August at 4:31am

💫Lay out your crystals tonight!

We are moving from the pattern last month about setting foundations to now finding tangible solutions to the problems in our lives. The great part of this Full moon, is the issues we find arising early this week, should have solutions – or at least the next steps by the end of the week.

Being a Full Moon, and a Super Full Moon, we are feeling a lot more. The call to do something or create action is strong, especially if it is an action that pertains around the seeds we planted around the Aquarius New Moon 6 months ago.

Big breaths, have faith and trust your intuition. Feel between your head, your heart and your ego. You may want to push things to be all or nothing, so I encourage you to take a look at the bigger picture. Keep balance and keep protected, everyone will feel the need to push around their boundaries trying to feel our way around this world.

♋️🌚New Moon in Cancer🌚♋️, Peaking for us TONIGHT/EARLY MORNING, 18/7/2023 at 4:31am

🕯️Light a candle, and for my night owls, spend some time before bed to just journal tonight… 🌞Or for my morning birds, be prepared to spend some time reflecting upon wake up. Think of what has worked, where you may want to add things or improve.

Following our Full moon, this New Moon in Cancer is still looking at our long term daily habits. Under the last full moon, it asked to take action in putting in life balancing practices – so now under the New Moon, we shift gears to something with more introspection… going within.

With an opposition to Pluto, we are digging our roots deep into who we are. So any challenges that you may find, are truly blessings to solidify your resolve. Listen to your heart, your truth, your intuition – as we impose self-care, and associated boundaries, we are going to be pushed against.

Like roots of a forest, we can create a solid foundation – however may find ourselves getting a little entwined with things that are not beneficial. This is your life, and you have a choice on who you let into your life/garden/world, and you also have a choice on moving plants elsewhere. Like anyone who gardens may know – sometimes when you move a plant, it may not thrive and even die in a new location. So look at this is a natural dying off of relationships which no longer serve a purpose in your world. Take conscious efforts to design and create the landscape and world that you want to live in.

Full Moons, are again the harvest that we planted 6 months ago during the equivalent New Moon. The Last New Moon in Capricorn, was just before Christmas on December 23rd – What personal decisions did you make then for the year to come?

If we refer back to my old post, I asked:
“What is working for you? Checking in with yourself, use the current energy start and celebrate a transition.”- 23/12/2022

If tended to, this would be the time we can now finally see the fruits of the seeds that were planted at Christmas.

But if the fruits aren’t as plentiful or ripe as you were hoping – this is a really good time to check in with yourself, and take action. Where are you being overly critical or harsh on yourself/others? And Have you let work or external responsibilities over-rule your personal life?

This Moon making a lovely Trine with Jupiter; which means, all the grandeur, luck and abundance from Jupiter is feeding into the current moment. If you pitcher the way a fern slowly unfurls (Like the Koru), there is a lot of structure being built into this moment, and it’s a great time to utilize this moment to set in place the things and practices that sustain long term balance and happiness…

🌚New Moon in Gemini🌚♊️
Peaking in Brisbane at 2:37pm, 18th of June (Today!)

Going within seems like a great idea with Venus currently retrograding through Leo 😮‍💨. With Venus making a sextile to Mercury, it’s easing tensions a little – but nothing like what quite a few of us are going through.

This evening is a great night for a fire (if you’re able to), the stars are bright and out dancing in the sky amongst the scattered clouds ✨ . And we can ponder with this New Moon in Gemini – being an air sign, its lending a hand to our thoughts… as scattered as they may be.

There will be both illusions and disillusions, so allow yourself to be entertained by the fantasy – but it isn’t anything I would place bets on just yet.

Gemini, is taking our thoughts back and forth, it is presenting us with choices… but nothing needs to be chosen just yet. Though, one thing Gemini is good for, is communication. Like the wonderful expo today, it is a good time to socialize, and have a few heart to heart conversations for the soul. This energy will continue the next couple of days, so if needed, call a family member or friend.
