We aim to achieve this through current evidence based practise techniques that are of the upmost qualit Our Manager/Owner, Lisa Bullock has been an Exercise Physiologist for 17 years and a Physiotherapist for 12 years. With her years of experience both with athletes at the Australian Institute of Sport, various Rugby/Netball and triathlon teams, both in Australia & the UK, and her own sporting success as a representative for Australia in the Duathlon team to experience with worker compensation, pain clinics, post operative, post surgical, chronic, sub acute, acute spinal and peripheral injuries. Lisa is able to offer a vast knowledge to provide individualised exercise programs to her patients. Lisa has also gained a vast array of experience as a physiotherapist working in Workers Compensation/pain clinics again both in Australia and overseas. In acute and chronic rehabilitation including orthopaedic (hip and knee replacements), neurological including stroke, Parkinson's and brain injuries, to cardiorespiratory and the elderly. Lisa opened Narromine Physiotherapy 10 years ago and her passion lies in Musculoskeletal Physio and has bought her skills and experience to this clinic to make it the thriving success it is today. She has a strong belief that a multidisciplinary approach will always be of most benefit to the patient and aims to diagnose, treat and manage for each patient with the highest level of respect and care. Our services include:
Physiotherapy - manual therapy including joint mobilisation and manipulation to improve the range of movement in a joint to decrease pain and stiffness. Our Physiotherapist has a special interest in spinal injuries and applies joint mobilisation in a passive manner to achieve an increase in spinal ROM and decrease in pain in a variety of current evidenced based techniques. Exercise Physiology - individual exercise programs from an acute injury through to the rehabilitation program to assist the patient, athlete, individual to return to sport/work and improve their overall functional capacity. We also offer weight loss programs through exercise and work closely with accredited dieticians to achieve optimal results. Dry Needling & Cupping - to treat muscular pain and myofascial dysfunction from cardiogenic headaches, chronic back pain to acute sporting injuries. These techniques are very effective for relaxing overactive muscles which contain trigger points. Massage Therapy - is an excellent adjunct to physiotherapy to provide a holistic approach through soft tissue release in conjunction with joint release with the physiotherapy. Massage is effective for reducing pain and muscle strain/stress, and can assist with myofascial pain syndrome, chronic pain, improve relaxation and enhance exercise performance. At Narromine Physio we are able to offer Massage Therapy and Exercise Therapy with physiotherapy in one complete package.
