☀️ Friday Hub: Making a Splash at Mayfield Pool! 💦

The perfect way to spend a hot summer’s day! Our participants had an absolute blast at Mayfield Pool for our latest Friday Hub session. 🕶️

Despite the scorching 31-degree heat, everyone stayed cool with a refreshing dip and a delicious BBQ lunch under the large shaded area. 🌭🏊‍♂️ It was a fantastic day of community, laughter, and great memories shared together!

✨ Kicking off the new year with vision & creativity! ✨

Our participants have been busy crafting their own vision and mood boards to start 2026 on the right note. 🎨🖼️ From images of things they love to big goals for the year ahead, it was wonderful to see everyone’s unique inspirations come to life!

We also had a fantastic group discussion about New Year’s resolutions and our dreams for the future. 🗣️💭 A special shout-out to our new hub participant, Sia, who absolutely wowed us with her incredible artistic skills and craft work! 🌟👏

Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Chisholm is now available and ready to welcome new participants! ✨
This modern 4-bedroom home features 3 spacious living areas and a beautiful outdoor space, creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment 🤍

✅ Vacancies available – open to all genders
🤝 Suitable for SIL and respite services
🧑‍⚕️ Supported by an experienced and compassionate team providing tailored, person-centred care

Along with the home, we are proud to offer a highly skilled support team experienced in both mental health and physical disabilities 💙
Our service is run by a couple of Registered Nurses with over 20 years’ experience, backed by an exceptional office team that handles crises with care and professionalism 🚑

⚡ We also provide emergency care at very short notice, ensuring peace of mind for participants, families, and support coordinators.

Our participants did an amazing job working together to create and decorate reindeer biscuit pops 🦌, white Christmas ❄️, and rocky road 🍬.

🌿 Wednesday Hub Adventure! 🐦🦎✨
Our Wednesday Hub Group had an amazing day exploring the beautiful Bethel Disability Services at the Hunter Wetlands Centre! 🌾💚

Our participants enjoyed spotting native birds 🦜 and reptile species 🐍, followed by a peaceful walk through the wetlands’ stunning natural landscapes and fauna. 🌺🌳

A special highlight was for our lucky participant Neena, who got to give Nudge the Blue-Tongue Lizard a friendly pat! 💙🦎✨

We wrapped up with a delicious bite at the café ☕🍰 — filled with laughter, smiles and warm conversations. 😄🧡
