Naming the truth isn’t about blame; it’s about ending the cycle of secrecy, releasing shame, and reclaiming power.
So many survivors carry the burden alone, asked to minimise, conceal, or “keep the peace,” especially when harm happens close to home.
When we speak - safely, in supportive spaces - we interrupt the pattern. We move from protecting the perpetrator to protecting the child within, the present self, and those who come after us.
If this brings something up for you, reach out to someone you trust or a qualified support service. You’re not alone, and your truth matters.
If you need support, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞.
