🌟 Today, we celebrate Mabo Day! 🌟

As a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Company, this day holds a special place in my heart. On June 3rd, 1992, Eddie Koiki Mabo, our courageous leader, and the Meriam people, achieved a victory that changed the course of history. The High Court of Australia finally recognised what we have always known: our deep and enduring connection to our land and sea.

Eddie Mabo's fight for justice and recognition wasn't just about land rights; it was about dignity, respect, and our right to exist as the first peoples of this land. His legacy reminds us of our strength and resilience and the importance of standing up for what is right.
