MAKING A QUIT PLAN 🤩

Making a quit plan is a great step towards quitting and can help eliminate challenges in the journey before you even start.

1. Make a quit date, this can help you start to get the ball rolling and give you time to prepare.
2. Work out your why, this can help you be focused. Whether it is for your kids, your health or to save, every reason is important to you feeling supported.
3. Write down you why, this is your habits around smoking such as having a smoke or a v**e because of stress. We then want to find alternatives to keep your hands busy during those why times.
4. What’s your way to quit, are you gonna use NRT, use an app like the any Quit Buddy app or have family to support you through this.

PLANNING YOUR 2026 QUIT JOURNEY 😜

2026 isn’t about creating the perfect plan, it’s about progress! Planning your smoke free journey is just one step forward and already a massive win towards quitting.

When thinking about quitting we have put together a to do list 📋 having a list can making quitting feel less overwhelming, shifts you mindset from thinking about it, to actively doing it! And builds your confidence and control towards how you want to tackle the first steps.

Not everything on the to do list will stay the same, it might change half a dozen times and that’s OK! Just thinking about creating a to do list and quitting is a hair change in itself!

DRINKING WATER AS ONE OF THE 4D’S

If you have been following along with Which Way? for awhile you know we are passionate about the 4 D’s 😎

Drinking helps distract your mind from cravings, sipping water can also take the edge off the craving and hydrating your body during your quit attempt can help your body flush out the ni****ne and other chemicals from the smokes or v**es, reducing your early withdrawal intensity.

So always keep your water bottle with you, take slow and deep sips, pair it with breathing, and make it nice and cold especially on these hot days.
