🎄 Merry Christmas and Goodbye 🎄

As we close our doors on December 19th, we want to wish all our families, clients, and the broader community a very Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season.

Over the past few weeks, we have spent time farewelling many families and children, celebrating milestones, and reflecting on the incredible progress you’ve made during your time with us. We are confident you will continue to thrive with the trusted referral partners we have connected you with.

To our wonderful community here in Mayfield, thank you for 14 years of support, collaboration, and connection. We have loved working alongside teachers, educators, and allied health professionals—it has been a privilege to serve this community.

While Small TALK’s clinical services have come to an end, I will keep this page active to share updates on my future endeavours at . Our Visual Resources will also remain available for download and purchase via our online shop.

📢 Important Announcement: Small TALK Speech Therapy Closing

After 14 wonderful years, Small TALK Speech Therapy will be closing its clinical services at the end of this year. This decision has been incredibly difficult, and it comes with mixed emotions as we reflect on the thousands of clients and families we’ve supported, the amazing teachers and professionals we’ve collaborated with, and the dedicated team members who’ve shared this journey with us.

Small TALK was my first “baby,” a place where I poured my heart and soul into building a space for children to find their voices and thrive. However, after years of balancing the demands of the business with the needs of my family and health, I’ve decided it’s time to focus on my wellbeing, my family, and my passion for empowering speech pathologists through my secondary business,

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible team of speech pathologists who’ve contributed to Small TALK over the years. Each of you shaped Small TALK into a high-quality service, and it was a privilege to work alongside such passionate professionals. Your dedication has left a lasting legacy.

Our team is committed to supporting clients through this transition and helping families find services to meet their needs. Thank you for trusting us and for being part of the Small TALK family.

In 2025, I will focus on Speech Pathology Resources, merging Small TALK visuals to create innovative tools for speech pathologists and families. This new chapter allows me to continue making a positive impact in a different way.

🌟 October is AAC Awareness Month! 🌟
As a speech pathologist, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) holds a special place in my heart. My journey with AAC began from a personal connection rooted in overcoming childhood trauma, and discovering my own neurodivergence, fueling my commitment to ensure that every child has the right to be heard. This belief is the cornerstone of our practice at Small TALK and inspires our everyday actions.

📹 Farewell to Bec: A Tribute to 11 Incredible Years 📹

This week, we will say farewell to Bec, who has been an integral part of Small TALK for the past 11 years. 🎉 Her journey with us has been filled with countless moments of dedication, compassion, and positive impact.

Bec has been instrumental in shaping Small TALK into the thriving practice it is today. Over the years, she has supported and transformed the lives of so many children and families, mentored numerous clinicians and staff, and continuously inspired us all with her unwavering commitment and kindness.

While this marks the end of an era, it also signifies the beginning of new opportunities and adventures for Bec. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

Thank you, Bec, for your 11 years of service, camaraderie, and outstanding contributions. Your presence will be greatly missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire us.
