Hello,

I am pleased to share that I have launched my new private practice - Kind Mind Therapy, as I am now an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) with the AASW, expanding my scope of practice to provide therapeutic services under multiple funding streams.

I am also now a registered provider with Victims Services (Victims of Crime) - an approved counsellor under that scheme, enabling me to deliver trauma-focused interventions to individuals impacted by criminal victimisation. Additionally, with my Mental Health Accreditation, I can provide psychological therapies under Medicare’s Better Access initiative, supporting clients with mental health concerns through a Mental Health Care Plan.

My practice, Kind Mind Therapy, remains grounded in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, strengths-based approaches, and trauma-informed care. I am also trained in Brainspotting - an EMDR Modality, a neurobiological modality to enhance therapeutic outcomes for trauma and emotional processing.

If you have any clients who may benefit from these services, please feel free to reach out to discuss referrals. I have current availability to provide service online via Zoom, and in the future my offices will be in New Lambton, I look forward to working with you in my new roles.

My name is Felicity, I am a Mental Health Social Worker and Senior Behaviour Support Clinician with TLC, currently I am in the process of moving the bulk of my services to the Newcastle Hunter area and have immediate capacity to service participants with therapy and behaviour support.
I have an extensive work history and education in mental health, working with men, women, and children with a particular interest in men and acute mental health, drug and alcohol, trauma, and recidivism. Although I have worked in homelessness, OOHC, mental health, and disabilities for the past 18 years for the past 2 years I have worked within the disability sector and NDIS, and appreciate the capacity for success within behaviour support driven by the sound framework of coordination of team.
