We are Alike Health — a Specialist Medical & Healthcare Hub.

Located in the heart of The Junction, Newcastle, our space sits within one of the area’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

For those requiring accessible parking, dedicated spaces are available in the car park beneath the building. Simply call our team on (02) 4086 5563 when you arrive, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Additional timed parking is available directly in front of the building, with residential parking options just a short walk away.

🎁 Thinking ahead to Christmas gift-giving? Here’s a reminder: not all battery-powered toys are created equal.

A recent ABC News investigation found that 17 out of 24 toys bought online failed to meet safety standards for button batteries. The products who failed the test were from the retailers Shein, AliExpress, EBay and Amazon.

Those tiny, shiny coin batteries might look harmless, but they can be extremely dangerous if a child gains access: swallowed button batteries can cause internal burns and even death.

So this festive season:
✅ Choose toys with secure, child-resistant battery compartments. 
✅ Avoid dodgy online bargains that don’t meet safety standards.
✅ Store spare batteries out of little hands.

Giving joy shouldn’t put safety on the line.

Led by our Senior Physiotherapist

Golf should feel enjoyable — not limited by stiffness, fatigue, or those familiar post-round niggles.

Our new 5-session Golf Strength & Conditioning Program is designed to help golfers move with more comfort, strength, and confidence on the course. This is not swing coaching. It’s physiotherapy-led conditioning that supports your mobility, balance, and golf-specific strength so you can keep playing the game you love.

👩🏻‍⚕️ 1:1 Physiotherapy assessment
🤜🏼🤛🏼 Four small-group sessions (max 4 people)
🙆🏼 Take-home exercises after each session
🏌 Delivered by an experienced Senior Physiotherapist with a strong understanding of golf-related movement

Dr. Tolu sees patients aged 18-65 years and specialises in treatment-resistant psychiatric conditions and complex mental state presentations.

As a Forensic Psychiatrist, Dr. Tolu has particular skills in the assessment and management of problem behaviours (including violence) in the context of mental disorders.
