Awesome news St Albans Saints FIDA Footy players and new players with disabilities who has a passion of AFL Aussie Rules footy.

There will be will be come and greet with coaching officials and pre-season footy session happening around the corner. Great to brush off our footy training skills and meeting new friends

Where: Kings Park Reserve/St Albans Sports Club

What to bring: Confortable AFL gear, shorts, runners only (no footy boots to be worn at ground), sunscreen and water bottle

Also don't forget St Albans Saints FIDA Pre-season footy training sessions starts every Wednesdays starting 11th March 2026

Same place, footy training times resumes from 5:00pm - 6:00pm

PS - St Albans Saints FIDA FC is looking for players to run footy clinics with Beyond Disability Services in conjunction with their Friday Sports programs - TBA. Must have WWCC and volunteer NDIS Screening Check.

This is due to Jason's new work shift, expos and study assignments for Beyond Disability Services Information Technology Program and best of all scoreboard highlights St Albans Saints FIDA has posted including Non-Tackle Carnival highlights but has put his hand up.

Our goal to share AFL Sports with Beyond Disability Services sports and might get players and supporters to watch us Sainters play

This includes all home game matches invitation including nearby away game matches, Non-Carnival matches to compete and have fun and Beyond Broadway performance is a biggest suprise happening in November 2026. This is going to be an awesome epic Broadway performances not to be missed 😃

The Eltham Football Club is seeking applications for the role of Treasurer for the 2026 season.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
•Manage and oversee the club’s financial operations in line with NFNL and club requirements
•Prepare annual budgets and regular reports for the committee
•Maintain accurate financial records, including receipts, invoices and bank reconciliations
•Process payments, manage accounts payable and receivable, and monitor cash flow
•Support fundraising efforts and sponsorships


Skills and Attributes
•Financial management and accounting skills (Xero)
•Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
•Ability to prepare clear financial reports for both financial and non-financial audiences
•Organisational and time management skills
•Integrity, reliability and commitment to the club’s values and objectives
•Previous experience in finance, bookkeeping or similar

The role is a rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing growth and success of the Eltham Football Club.

Outgoing Treasurer is willing to provide assistance in the handover and throughout the year, as needed.

AFL Victoria is seeking applications for the 2026 Lead Your Way program, for women and gender diverse leaders in community football.

To be eligible, applicants must be over 18 and hold a current leadership position as a committee volunteer within an AFL Victoria affiliated community football club or umpire association.

Applications close at 11:59pm on Friday 30 January.

FIDA are excited to be a part of the partnership with Victoria Leisure Networks and AFL Barwon a collaboration to develop a junior-to-youth Australian Rules football pathway for boys and girls aged 10–17 with an intellectual disability.

In 2026, Leisure Networks will lead the delivery of specialised programs within Special Development Schools across Victoria. These programs will culminate in inter-school gala days, offering students the chance to compete, connect, and showcase their skills. These events will also provide valuable insights into participation trends and community interest.
