Half marathon for Marianne and I on the weekend 🏃🏽♀️ ☀️
Proud of her training block (and all of this year in fact) as we’ve found our grove as athlete & coach, and have found what works for her body in managing load and recovery, along with training for her longest run ever! Goal was sub 2, and that was smashed ✅ 1:54:30 hrs 👊
I’m also proud of my own run - it wasn’t what I had originally planned for my longest run post-partum, with being sick for 10 days out… but I managed to recover (somewhat) in time, focus on rest and nutrition, and get on out there - enjoying the last few kms when I could finally push to the end 💥 Thanks Noosa!
