Movement isn’t just physical - it’s neurological.

When you’ve lived with pain, a neurological condition or a long stretch of not moving much, your body needs time to feel safe again.

That’s why movement therapy isn’t about “pushing harder.”
It’s about rebuilding trust in your body through:
• slow, controlled movement
• repetition your brain can predict
• balance practice
• gentle loading
• small wins that boost confidence

When movement feels safe, progress becomes possible.

If you want to understand why small steps matter so much, our latest Health Hub story dives deeper.

She’s back!

After some time away on maternity leave, we’re so happy to welcome Ellie back.

Ellie’s looking forward to catching up with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and getting back to what she does best - helping people through rehab, recovery and feeling confident in their movement again.

If you’ve worked with Ellie before, or would like to, limited appointments with her are now available.

Events like City2City are a great reminder how quickly load can change - especially when life, work and training collide.

Simple decisions including warming up properly and managing load afterwards - can reduce injury risk and support a smoother recovery.

If something doesn’t feel right after the event, early assessment can help you keep moving forward.

We're here and ready to help. View available appointments at https://bit.ly/4rC6Z2y

Many people delay care for back pain because they’re unsure if it’s “serious enough”.

If pain is persistent, recurring, or changing how you move, work or train, early guidance can provide clarity and reduce ongoing disruption.

Support isn’t a last resort - it’s often the step that stops pain becoming your new normal.

Persistent pain improves when care is coordinated.

When plans are fragmented across appointments or providers, people often end up managing symptoms instead of solving the problem.

At O-health, physios, osteos, exercise physiologists and strength + rehab coaches work together - under one roof, with one clear plan.

One team. One plan. Built around real life.

Back pain flare-ups often trigger one response: stop everything and hope it settles.

What actually matters is what happens next.

In the first 48 hours, calm movement, sensible load reduction and reassurance usually help more than prolonged rest.

How pain is managed early often determines whether it settles, or keeps coming back.

If you’re unsure what’s safe - that’s exactly when early guidance helps most.

If pain is stopping you from sleeping properly, getting through work or moving the way you normally would, it’s usually a sign something needs attention.

An early assessment can help you understand what’s going on, and what to do about it.

Twenty-one years ago, O-health started with a simple belief: to make Albury healthier by doing health differently.

Not just short-term fixes.
Not just “pain-free for now.”
But support that helps people feel stronger, more confident, and capable in their everyday lives.

Over the years, we’ve seen what’s possible when care goes beyond symptoms - when people are supported to build capacity, understand their bodies, and move forward without fear of things flaring up again.

We’ve watched people avoid surgeries, return to sport, walk long trails, regain independence, and do things they thought were behind them. And none of that happens without trust, commitment, and a whole lot of teamwork.

To everyone who has walked through our doors, backed our team, shared their story, or recommended us to someone they care about - thank you. You’re the reason we get to do what we do.

Here’s to 21 years of doing health differently - and to continuing that journey together. 🧡

Meet Tilly, one of the newest Physiotherapists to join the O-health team. 👋

Tilly’s path into physio wasn’t a straight line - after starting out in construction, she followed her curiosity for human movement back to study, completing her Physiotherapy degree at Charles Sturt University in Albury.

She’s especially passionate about helping people build strength and confidence for everyday life, particularly supporting older adults to stay active, independent and moving well. Tilly also enjoys sports injury rehab, drawing on her background in gymnastics, powerlifting and CrossFit-style training.

If you’re dealing with recurring pain, returning to activity, or just want a clearer plan for how your body moves day to day, Tilly’s now available to book.

At O-health, we look at progress differently.

We use data - like strength measures, balance testing, mobility screens and fatigue patterns - to understand how your body is responding and what it needs next.
But data alone won’t help someone feel confident or safe.

That’s where compassionate guidance comes in.
Because real progress happens when you feel:
• supported, not judged
• encouraged, not rushed
• understood, not overlooked
• safe in your movement, not scared of it

Data helps us measure what’s changing.

Compassion helps you feel ready to keep going.

Together? They help you build the kind of strength that supports independence, not pressure.
