GROUP CLASSES 🕺 💃

If you have been following along with my social media, firstly: Thankyou. 😂

Secondly: you would have seen that group classes are a bit different here. I’m a strong believer of the body always having the ability to improve, if it is encouraged appropriately. The videos might look tough, but if you come to SPR, you are here to exercise. It’s safe, it’s tailored and it gets results.

You have all heard the saying “use it or lose it”?

It’s true.

It’s not about being able to lift heavy weights, run long distances or even to look good.

It’s more important than that.

It’s to be able to continue to do the things you love, with the people you love, for longer.

Confidence comes with feeling stronger, moving more easily, having a feeling of control.

I can help you find that.

Exercise physiology is more than just teaching you how to exercise. It’s helping to remind you why to exercise.

Show your loved ones, message me and I’ll book them in this week. Get them started on opening up their world again 🌏

I love working on balance 🙏

But you shouldn’t just stand around waiting for it to decline 🕺

Why not book in and challenge yourself to improve all aspects of your life by being more confident on your feet.

I’m posting some balance exercises on Friday, keep an eye out for them 👀

Probably going to ruffle some feathers with this one.. 🚶‍♂️

Walking needs to stop being the prescription for people who are starting to struggle - whether it’s cardiovascular issues, poor balance resulting in falls, to lose weight or simply because the doctor doesn’t know what else to say.

All exercise is good (when prescribed appropriately) and walking can be good as a way to get outside and be more active initially, however if you are not supplementing it with resistance training it will stop providing you the positive results exercise should.

Muscles need to be stimulated to grow, and if you just do the same thing over and over again, eventually they will decline.

If walking is all you want to do, great. Come and get stronger so it’s easier, you can go further, faster and enjoy it for longer.
