Trailz Designs We are local Mackay ladies (Tracey & Liza) who discovered a passion for sewing after sewing and donating 450 scrub caps to the Mackay Base hospital.

We have since branched out to sew scrub tops, bags, bibs, thermomix covers and much more.

We have finished off this week's orders, a custom Bingo pen bag for the lovely Vanessa! We have lost count of how many bags she has now 🤭. We posted off Kirra's new scrub tops and have started prepping our old favourite, the zippy clutch these will be added to the website as they are completed . We have upped the features and added the works with 6 credit card slots, a money zip pocket inside, a phone zip pocket outside, and a wristlet strap with the option to add a crossbody strap if you wish. The stitch one has been added to the website. I will link in comments.

All the new bags have been loaded onto the website now all I need is a new zipper foot to finish off everything else. 😊

There were big plans this weekend to catch up on all the unfinished bags! But unfortunately, my head wasn’t in the game, and I tried to zigzag with my zipper foot on 🤦🏼‍♀️😳. My machine had a meltdown. I almost had a needle in the eye, and one very broken zipper foot. Now I have to wait for Janome to open tomorrow to get a new one. But I did manage to finish the gorgeous quilted Oxbow Boho cow bag yesterday with some pattern add-ons and upgrades from the previous style. We will get the new bags loaded onto the website tomorrow.

The sewing table is full of UFO’s (unfinished objects 😂) Hoping to clear a few of them off by the weekend.

This week's new bag pattern is the Clea sling/hip bag, which comes in three sizes, this one is size medium. It can be worn three ways and fits the size M Ellie sunglasses case perfectly. The inside zip pocket fits most phones, and there is room for a purse as well. The super cute chicken dress was ordered as a birthday gift for a lucky little girl 🥰.

Hello from Canada 🇨🇦. It's the end of day 5 of our wild adventure and we're having a blast. We started in Vancouver and are now in Banff, part of the totally gorgeous Canadian Rockies. I wanted to share a few of my fave pics with you all. I'm still super hopeful for a bear sighting, but we've been lucky to see a ton of other local wildlife.
