Our art class was full of excitement as some of the students used a paint knife for the first time! It was amazing to see how quickly everyone adapted to the technique, and they did so well. The texture and bold strokes created with the paint knife really brought their paintings to life, adding depth and movement to their pieces. It’s so inspiring to watch each artist push themselves and try new things. Great job, everyone! Can’t wait to see where this creative journey takes us next.

Our Gustav Klimt-inspired art class was an absolute creative journey!

We dived into his iconic decorative style and explored the use of gold leaf, bold patterns, and intricate textures. Each artist brought their own interpretation to the class, creating beautiful, expression-filled pieces that capture the essence of Klimt’s work.

It was incredible to see how everyone experimented with layering materials and brought out their own unique creativity, all while paying tribute to Klimt’s rich colour and symbolism. I’m so proud of the stunning results!

Looking forward to our next artistic adventure together!

Our Mixed Media Art Class this week was such a wonderful experience! Although we had just two students, it turned out to be a great opportunity for deeper connection and personalised guidance. It was amazing to see each artist explore their creativity and experiment with different mediums in a relaxed and focused environment.

Sometimes smaller classes allow for more hands-on support and unique conversations, and I’m so grateful for the creativity and energy the class brought. Can’t wait for our next session!

I am absolutely delighted to have bought this stunning artwork from the incredibly talented Eileen McMahon! Her expressive ink art has always inspired me, and I’m thrilled to now have one of her pieces in my collection.

We’re also so excited to have Eileen hosting an Ink Art Workshop with us in August! It's going to be an amazing opportunity to dive into her unique techniques and creative process. Moon Explorers in the Making!

Our young artists have been reaching for the stars this week, literally! We’ve been learning all about the moon, the Apollo 11 mission, and the historic moment when Neil Armstrong took that famous first step.

To celebrate the upcoming anniversary of the moon landing next week, the students have been creating some truly out-of-this-world artworks! Using paint, collage, and imagination, they’ve captured moon craters, space shuttles, and even their own astronaut dreams.

Art and science came together beautifully in this session, because learning about history doesn’t have to be boring when it’s covered in paint and star-speckled skies!

Look at these Proud Peacocks!

Our young artists absolutely outdid themselves this week with their vibrant peacock artworks and we couldn’t be prouder!

Each child brought their own unique flair to the canvas, exploring colour, texture, and pattern while learning about one of nature’s most dazzling creatures. From bold feathers to curious expressions, these peacocks are full of personality and imagination!

It’s amazing what happens when kids are given the space to create freely and confidently.

Well done to all our little artists, you’ve turned the classroom into a colourful parade of peacock pride!

Our Food Art Class turned out amazing! The students had a blast exploring colour mixing and creating abstract paintings based on photographs of food. Using primary colours, black, and white, they brought their unique interpretations to life by blending shades and creating depth in ways that were truly inspiring.

It’s incredible to see how colour and creativity transform something as simple as food into a beautiful work of art. I’m so proud of the effort and imagination everyone put into their pieces. Well done, artists!

This week, we’ve been busy sculpting human figures out of air-dry clay, focusing on form and proportion. Everyone has done an amazing job bringing their creations to life with unique poses and details. Next week, we’ll be painting these figures, adding colour and finishing touches to bring out the emotion and energy in each piece.

I’m so excited to see how each sculpture transforms as we add paint and personality to these wonderful creations! Stay tuned for the final results, and let’s keep having fun with this creative process!

Bonjour from our art class this week. Everyone painted their own version of the Eiffel Tower and added abstract figures to bring the scene to life. It was such a joy to see how each person used contrast and unity in their work, creating vibrant and expressive Parisian moments.

We explored how contrast adds excitement and energy to a piece while unity brings it all together. From bold colours to playful shapes, the artworks turned out beautifully. It’s amazing what can be created with a little inspiration and a lot of heart.
