Willow decided to turn kitchen sponges into food using paint, and she did it completely on her own. From shaping to colouring, she transformed simple materials into something so imaginative and fun. It was such a joy to watch her ideas come to life in such a unique way.

This is what creativity looks like. Taking everyday objects and seeing something completely different. So proud of her for thinking outside the box and bringing her ideas to life.

Another oil painting created with my palette knife, and I am still completely in love with the texture it brings. There is something so grounding about working this way, letting the paint sit thick and bold, allowing every mark to be seen and felt.

This piece was inspired by Frida Kahlo, her strength, her honesty, and the way she told her story through symbolism and emotion. I am drawn to that raw expression, where art is not about perfection but about truth.

I painted this woman surrounded by flowers using oil paint, and I absolutely love using the knife. It gives such rich, beautiful texture, allowing the paint to sit boldly on the canvas and bring the whole piece to life.

What a beautiful way to finish the term. In our final session, everyone had the freedom to paint a subject of their own choice, bringing together all the skills and techniques they have been learning.

It was incredible to see the variety of ideas, styles, and creativity in the room. Each artwork reflected not only personal inspiration, but also the growth, confidence, and courage that has developed over the term.

So proud of every single person who showed up, gave it a go, and trusted the process. What a special way to end our time together.

A special mention to two of our students who completed their artworks inspired by the stunning photographs of Stacey Lydon. Their pieces turned out absolutely fabulous!

It was so lovely to see how each artwork captured the essence of the original photos while still bringing in their own creative style and interpretation. This is what art is all about — observing, responding, and making it your own.

So proud of the creativity and effort shown. I

The children had so much fun creating their own Easter bunny drawings, bringing these sweet little characters to life. From soft fluffy textures to bright Easter tones, each bunny had its own personality and charm.

It was such a lovely session filled with smiles, imagination, and creativity. Watching the children feel proud of their artwork and excited to take their bunnies home was truly special.
