Hi Everyone,
This post will continue in the comments because it's too long 🤣
I've been busy doing research about recycling, to contribute to the 'circular economy'. It's also related to Feng Shui and Period 9.
Plastic is my 'pet hate'. This is my rant:
'Redcyle', a recycling program in Australia, crashed in November 2022.
I purchased these sticky notes in a retail outlet in 2024. (the image shows the Redcycle logo on the packaging).
This retail outlet promotes recycling, because it's on the packaging they sell.
This is great! but...
The Redcycle program crashed two years ago!
Plastic from that program is now being stored in warehouses around Melbourne, and future recycling plans are taking too much time.
In the meantime, we have returned to throwing plastic into landfill.
This indicates retail outlets are selling stock in 2024, that was packaged/imported before the crash of Redcycle two years ago.
So, today we are buying many stationary (and other) products that have been in stock for at least 2 years.
Such as plastic bread bags with the Redcycle logo. The bread is freshly baked, but the packaging is at least two years old!
I spent 15 years importing products, so I am very aware of my own environmental impact.
I can say with some authority that orders for packaging used for products must be in the 10,000s / package. ie each single different type of package must be an order of minimum 10,000 pieces. This is called MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). Large wholesalers/retailers could be buying minimum 100,000 pieces of each plastic package.
Can you see the implications of this? Products and packaging we buy now can already be on the shelves many years.
When we buy the product, we also buy the packaging.
Feng Shui flying stars changes every 20 years. When it changes, it affects ALL buildings and places people use.
2004 was the last change, to Period 8.
In 2008 the GFC occurred...
