Out of office is on. Saturday was my last day seeing clients for 2025 but I still worked yesterday and today completing all the paperwork and admin that comes with being a psychologist.
It’s been a rollercoaster of a year. Having to relocate offices suddenly was not part of my 2025 plan. But life happens. We feel the feelings and we take effective action. And that’s what saw me move from my cosy space in Neutral Bay to a new one in North Sydney in September. Three and a bit months later, I’ve settled into this space & I’m grateful for all the clients who’ve adapted to the change as well.
In other 2025 reflections, I feel privileged as always to be able to hold space for my clients and help them through their challenges. I’ve been very grateful for the supervision I continue to receive from my supervisor here & more recently from Robyn Walser, a therapist I aspire to be like. Highlights for the year were attending the ACT Bootcamp in Denver in May & the ANZACBS conference in Melbourne in October. Through the latter, I’m so keen to build a Sydney ACT community which has commenced with baby steps in December this year.
For now though, I have 12 days to rest, to have a break, to read and relax at the beach. Wishing everyone a restful festive season.
