What is wrong with this article.... Well, firstly it is not an article, it is really an infomercial masquerading as a motivational article. Then, is it about a woman with body dysmorphia (a psychological condition) or body image issues (which are sub-clinical)? Losing weight is not the goal of treatment for body dysmorphia because you are buying into the notion that there is something wrong about a facet of your appearance. You should rather be aiming for body acceptance.

The before pictures show a regular weight woman, and the after photo shows an extremely thin person, and she herself says the latter was not sustainable. And she continues to dislike parts of her body. What do you think?

Body-shaming is everywhere and it is a battle you cannot win. You're either to fat or too skinny, too tall or too short, have a too small or too big bum. Simply stop accepting these kinds of insults and you take the wind out of the sails of the trolls!

Work on the causes of excess weight or binge eating etc. and you’ll change the effect.
