My change?

Stretching areas that feel tight before they become painful.

My body works hard for me while I’m working to better yours! I too get tight and experience a lot of tension and discomfort.

This week I’m prioritising stretching and adding more movement into each day to improve my mobility.

Understanding different types of pain 👇

1) Muscle pain

Often feels tight, achy or like a deep knot. Common with stress, poor posture or overuse.
You may notice stiffness and reduced movement.
👉 I help by using techniques to release tight fibres, improve circulation and restore movement.

2) Joint pain

Felt deep in or around a joint and can feel sharp, stiff or restricted. Often worse after rest or with certain movements.
👉 I help by using techniques to reduce surrounding muscle tension and improve joint support and mobility.

3) Nerve pain

Often sharp, burning, tingling or shooting, and may travel down an arm or leg. Can feel unpredictable and limiting.
👉 I help by using techniques to reduce pressure around nerves and improve mobility in surrounding tissues.

This year is already shaping up to be a big one 😅, and with that comes a small update to my availability. 🙌🏼



From Jan 2026:

• Monday nights will be CLOSED
• Weekend hours will be reduced

With fewer evening appointments available due to some regular bookings, after hours sessions are already becoming limited. If you rely on evenings or weekends, I recommend booking ahead to avoid missing out.

☀️ Felt the heat today!! It’s heating up in Brissy! Stay hydrated folks 💧

Our bodies are around 60% water. Low energy, fatigue and muscle cramps are some signs of dehydration.

When we start to dehydrate, our muscles tighten, energy drops, and even our mood and focus take a hit.

Keep your water bottle handy, your body (and your muscles!) will thank you. Not a big fan of just water, jazz it up with a squeeze of lemon or lime juice 🍋🍋‍🟩

💦 most my clients know even I stop to rehydrate during long treatments… it’s thirsty work! 😅

✨Mindset for this week! Change doesn’t have to be huge, it just has to begin.

💡 My tip is… your body remembers how you sit, stand, and move.

Good posture isn’t about being rigid, it’s about being balanced and aware.

Check in on your posture regularly throughout the day. If you make this a habit, you will see improvement! Add in some shoulder rolls, uncross your legs when seated, avoid looking down for long periods of time.

Small, consistent changes create big results over time. Consistency is key!

Stress affects our whole body! There is a strong connection between our emotional state and our physical bodies.

When we experience stress, our body doesn’t always know the difference between emotional pressure and physical threat. It automatically prepares for “fight or flight.”

Here’s what actually happens inside your body:

⚪️ The nervous system releases stress hormones (like cortisol and adrenaline), increasing heart rate and muscle tone.

⚪️ Fascia, the connective tissue surrounding your muscles, becomes tighter and less hydrated, restricting movement and blood flow.

⚪️ This stiffness can compress nerves and create areas of pain or tension — even in places that weren’t injured.

⚪️ Over time, muscles remain in a constant state of low-level contraction, draining energy and leading to fatigue, headaches, and disrupted sleep.

✨ Massage helps reverse this cycle by:

☑️ Activating the parasympathetic nervous system, your body’s “rest and repair” mode.

☑️ Improving circulation and fascial hydration, helping tissues glide and move freely again.
