Not all opportunities are for you.
Yes there are opportunities that are divinely aligned with our design & purpose...but there are also opportunities that are not.
Today I want to talk about the "non-aligned" ones.
The ego loves opportunities - of any kind! The ego likes to feel needed, wanted & important. Here's the issue...the ego is the part of ourself that is running off of programming based on unresolved childhood emotions & inhertited/learnt beliefs patterns (as opposed to our true self - spirit/essence which has a uniquely divine identity expressed in your design for a purpose.)
The ego likes to overshadow our true essence...unless we intentionally and consistently do inner work to discern & unlearn.
When opportunities come, the ego doesn't stop to ask..."is this in alignment with my design & purpose?", it just says "yes" because it feels good, and let's face it...we all like to feel good. But here's the kicker...
"Feel good" doesn't always equal best choice.
Accepting every opportunity that comes to you is like sailing a boat with no rudder to guide you...you end up wherever the wind takes you...it's a gamble...sometimes you get to shore, sometimes you get taken out to sea...lost for days, weeks...
And while some might say "it's divine orchestration". I say this...
You have been given intuition/divine guidelines within...accepting everything that comes is not exercising that gift!
Accepting every opportunity is also a very sneaky way of the ego keeping you busy in order to avoid dealing with unresolved emotions / limiting mindsets.
Then there are "opportunities" that come knocking which are actually chaos
in disguise (hint: its not your chaos!). These are not opportunities, they are people's attempts to palm off their "not wanting to take personal responsibility" of their own unresolved emotions & limiting mindsets. It's amazing how much of this goes on! When you hear someone telling you about a situation & then they follow it up with "I thought of you & how you could....."...run for the hills! Right there is NOT an invitation or opportunity...it's a attempt at conscription spritzed in perfume to smell good. Instead of the person digging within themselves to deal with what is in front of them, they are trying to get you to step in...meaning- they can bypass their own growth & remain comfortable, while you are expending your energy on what is not yours to do.
Remember...NO is a complete sentence! At no point are you required to give a reason. Too many people give their personal energy/power away by saying yes to things they should be saying no to! This is #1 in learning boundaries...the power of No!
At the core of it, ability to say yes & no with clarity & confidence comes down to how well you know yourself....your true identity/essence- not the learnt identity (ego).
So why bother discerning when you say yes or no?
You have limited time in this life & to make it count you have to choose wisely what you do with that time. That's why knowing your unique energetic blueprint is vital...it helps you know what's in alignment with your design. Combine this with your intuition & you have a powerful ability to focus your attention & time on what matters to maximise your time & resources in your lifetime....eliminate chasing the "proverbial carrot", and actually live your dream life.
That's why I've redesigned sessions to now include your energetic design/blueprint...to help you navigate life more clearly & to help you develop confidence that comes from knowing how you are "wired" and using your design to leverage more out of life.
So...next time you have an invitation to do something that looks like an opportunity. Stop...pause, take time to ask a few questions
👉 In doing this, will I be in alignment with my design? (Note: each time you make a choice out of alignment. you abandon your true self & that is your fastet way to exhaustion, frustration, losing money, burnout, relationship issues)
👉 If I do this, what am I taking away from the other person that they could be needing to learn?
👉If I don't do this, how will I feel? Why do I feel this feeling?
