Plans to remediate the entrance to the Village are progressing well. Work to demolish the old shop and residence, plus the removal of underground storage tanks, has now been completed. The contractors (Australian Environmental Services) did a great job, overcoming a number of obstacles including the discovery of asbestos and an additional underground storage tank below the house once it was demolished.

We are hosting an Information Day on Thursday 17th July from 10.00am to 2.00pm. This will provide visitors with a rundown on future development of Oakdale Residential Village. Everyone is welcome to attend, further details will be provided in the coming weeks.

Work is finally underway to demolish the old shop and residence at the front of the Village. Obsolete underground fuel tanks are also being removed. The entrance will look entirely different once the works are completed (see artist depiction attached). Demolition and clean-up of the area is expected to be completed by the end of March.
