Sisterhood Wounds.
One of the deepest wounds within the feminine.

Going into my early twenties with no real genuine friendships felt incredibly shameful. Everyone else seemed to already be settled within their friendship groups, going on trips together, celebrating big life events together, travelling and doing all the fun youthful things! Why not me? (Does this ring a bell for you?)
Well after years of being bullied in an all-girls school, I recognised that I (understandably) had some serious Sisterhood Wounds to deal with. I realised how unsettling and unsafe it felt for me to be around other Women all those years… I was constantly seeing through the lens of my wounds.

That’s where Women’s Circles came in.

For the first time I experienced what SAFETY around other Women felt like.
For the first time, I felt compassion, love, warmth and belonging.

It cracked my heart open and led me down the path of pursuing and creating these spaces, and within a couple of years my life became enriched with the most safe, nourishing, reciprocated and secure friendships I’d ever experienced!

My wish is the same for you. I hope you come with an open mind and open heart. You might just meet your bestest friends in the world.

It doesn’t matter your age, your cultural background, your experience, you are welcome in the Circle.

One week to go! The doors for the first round of The Art of Holding Circle close on April 13th. ⭕️ This is my first Women’s Circle Facilitator Training - and it’s going to go downnnn. I’m spilling the beans on everything I know. This is an extremely potent and intimate container 🐛➡️🦋

The Heart Dojo
~ A space for Women to become masters of their heart, craft and mission through the support of sisterhood. ~

The word ‘Dojo’ is Japanese and translates to “The Place of The Way” - From what I understand, a dojo is a place where students and teachers come together to become masters of their craft - generally Martial arts. A ‘dojo’ is also known as a hall or place for immersive learning, experiential learning or meditation.

The Heart Dojo is a space where we can practise our own mastery through self exploration and connection with others, in sacred containers and supported settings. The Heart Dojo offers three main elements: Sound, Cacao and Circle.

◗ Sound ~ We work with sound, frequency and vibration in the form of Sound Baths, Vocal Activations and Instrumental Play. Sound helps us to connect to the divine and heal the physica body and energetic layers of the psyche.

◗ Cacao ~ We work with the medicine of Cacao as a sacred plant ally in deep reverence and curiosity to explore the depths of our heart and connect us to the Earth and unseen worlds.

◗ Circle ~ We are held in sisterhood to explore our relationship to ourselves and our body and learn how to foster meaningful friendships. We share, we witness, we hold, we express, we unravel, we become.

I’ve been in a spiritual rut lately, feeling very cloudy and unclear of my direction, how to combine my multiple passion projects into a streamlined flow, feeling stuck on executing my ideas and holding the vision of that which I wish to birth. How to merge my *very* diverse list of passions. They all feel SO interconnected, and yet somehow it feels SO complex and tricky to stitch together in reality.

I see how it all merges on a macro level but when I think about the finer details and how it will all “work”, I want to bang my head into a Tibetan singing bowl and pour Cacao all over my laptop. That’s disrespectful I wouldn’t actually do that.

The ironic thing is, my background is in business strategy and marketing. People paid me to support them in nailing it all down. But when it comes to my own stuff, it all feels to close to home. It definitely feels time to call in some aligned support and mentorship again.

I’ve been contemplating how to be the spiritual AND the business woman. How to appropriately channel all of this creatrix energy I hold within me. It feels like all of this energy is overflowing and exploding without the pipe structure to flow through effectively. And so it just comes out as messy. It all just feels like a LOT. And I notice when I feel like this, I just totally withdraw. Because it’s more manageable (but not really) to pretend like the energy isn’t exploding than to do the work to build a fu***ng structure for it to actually move through me 😅 In the same breath, there is such medicine in taking time to pause, reflect and recuperate the energy. But when does a pause turn into a stop? I have to be really honest about when I’m actually attuning to the feminine flow, and when I’m just uninspired and inactive. Because in being truthful with myself, I am then empowered to choose something else.

Are there any other souls who see a reflection of themselves in this? I would love to know! What are some things you do to find your balance?🌓

Today I discovered this book called ‘The Way Of The Spiritual Entrepreneur’ by Pauline Nguyen today and it was an immediate somatic YES. I’m excited to sink my teeth into this.
