#4 Elderberry

Elderberry is a must for any medicinal garden. It is easy to care for highly medicinal.
Elderberries are antiviral and perfect for fighting flu.

#3 Lavender

Lavender not only smells good but also has medicinal properties.
Dried lavender can be used for sleep, anxiety, tension and more.
It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.

#2 Rose - rosa

Did you realise roses were medicinal?
They have been used traditionally to help with anxiety.
It is cooling, astringent and anti- inflammatory which is why it is used in skincare.
Roses are also rich in anti-oxidants.
Pairs well with Lemon Balm, Lavender and Hawthorn.

As a bonus you can get rosehips which are high in vitamin c.

Calendula

If you are new to medicinal herbs it can be overwhelming to know where to start.
I am going to introduce 14 herbs as a great place to start.
#1 Calendula.

Calendula is a wonderful healing herb. Great for external or internal use.
It can be used in balms, salves or teas. It promotes healing and reduces inflammation.

We have Calendula in plant form and dried in our herbal tea section in store at Garden Goodness Smithfield.

*NEW PRODUCT LINE*

Our sprouting and micro-green seeds have arrived.

We have Mung Beans, Radish seeds, Broccoli seeds, Alfalfa seeds, and Sunflower seeds.

For now they are packaged in 100 gram portions. We will add 200-400gm lots by request.
There is an accompanying sprouting/micro green leaflet that accompanies our seeds by request.

In keeping with our Permaculture principles we are selling these in recycled glass jars that have been washed, sterilized and where needed lids have been replaced.
If you have any glass jars you do not know what to do with, we will happily take them to repurpose.
Available from Garden Goodness Smithfield later this week.
