🌿 Cancer treatment can be deeply depleting, especially when it comes to fluids and nourishment.
From a TCM perspective, supporting digestion is one of the most important ways we can help protect energy and reduce dryness during treatment.

This isn’t a replacement for medical care, but a way to support the body alongside it.
If you or someone you love is going through this, support matters.

🌿 Ever wondered what the difference is between the types of moxa we use?

Pete’s demonstrating two traditional moxibustion techniques

Cone moxa, a gentle heat perceiving method where the moxa is removed as soon as warmth is felt. It’s a soft, therapeutic heat. And, tenetsukyu, which is a direct rice grain moxa technique where tiny cones are placed on the skin and allowed to burn through, creating a stronger stimulation.

Two different styles that have different levels of intensity, both rooted in traditional practice and chosen based on the needs of the patient 😌

🌿 Change isn’t always the hardest part. Often it’s the meaning we give it.

When things in our lives shift the mind can quickly move into resistance, worry, or trying to control the outcome.

Most of us start trying to figure everything out straight away. But sometimes the most helpful question isn’t ‘How do I stop this?’, it’s ‘How am I meeting this moment?’

A small shift in perspective can open space for creativity, clarity, and solutions that weren’t visible before.

It doesn’t mean change suddenly becomes easy.
But it can become a little less heavy to carry.

🌿 Change has a way of bringing things to the surface.
Relationships shift, work evolves, old patterns we thought were settled can suddenly reappear.

When this happens, it’s easy for the mind to move into stress, worry, or trying to control what’s unfolding. From that place, everything can start to feel heavier and more complicated than it really is.

But often the challenge isn’t just the change itself, it’s the perspective we’re holding while it happens.
Even creating a small pocket of calm within yourself can shift how you see things. When the mind settles, thinking becomes clearer and new possibilities have space to appear.

It doesn’t mean change suddenly becomes comfortable. But the place you meet it from can make a meaningful difference.

🌿 Have you heard of facial acupuncture?

Facial acupuncture focuses on more than just the face.
By improving circulation in the whole body and supporting the body’s natural repair processes, it helps soften tension, encourage collagen production, and bring a healthier glow to the skin, without forcing anything.

The aim isn’t to change your face, but to support it so it can look and feel its best.

🌿 When we connect to our heart, our intuition, and who we really are, the system begins to unwind.

We start moving toward what we want instead of just trying to escape what hurts. And from that place, the body naturally shifts toward healing.

Even bringing your awareness there, with your hands, your breath, your attention, and gently asking ‘where am I going?’ begins to change your state.

Repetition builds resonance. And resonance builds healing.

We will be sending an email out this week diving deeper into this and how to work with it in a practical way. Keep an eye on your inbox!
