For those of you asking about sleep paralysis.. There are usually 2 distinctly different causes.

It’s most commonly one of the final stages before you have an astral projection. It’s when your body gets super relaxed and shuts off like it’s sleeping, but your mind/consciousness is still awake. If this happens often, you’re probably just on the cusp of astral projection but your fear is holding you back from going all the way out of body.

There is also sleep paralysis caused by entities, (which is depicted in this photo) but those situations are more rare, and they feel very different. You can sense the presence of an entity when this happens. These experiences are much more terrifying.
