I wish to inform you that I have relocated to Far North Queensland.

Bowen Therapy may seem subtle on the surface, but don't let that fool you β€” big things can happen at a cellular level!

Each gentle move sends signals through the fascia, encouraging the body to reset and heal itself, to the best of its ability.

While it might look like I'm not doing much, your nervous system is hard at work, calming down and restoring balance.

This hands-off approach is what makes Bowen Therapy so unique β€” it supports the body's natural healing processes without force or pressure.

Your body does the real work, and Bowen helps it get there.

Sometimes, less is more.

Did you know? Beetroot is gaining popularity as a performance enhancer for athletes. It's consumed in various forms like juice, powder, or whole.

Tom Bowen recommended beetroot to his clients. He saw thousands of clients in Geelong (VIC) and worked with football and other sporting clubs from the 1960s-1980s. His recommendation was two slices of raw beetroot or a quarter of a cup of beetroot juice daily as a kidney tonic.

Studies show it can improve performance, particularly in endurance sports, by extending time to exhaustion and covering more distance. Benefits are mostly seen in recreational athletes, not elites or sedentary individuals. Beetroot's high nitrate content helps by dilating blood vessels and delivering oxygen to muscles efficiently.

Possible downsides include red urine and upset stomachs. While beetroot can give a small performance boost, maintaining a balanced diet and proper training is crucial.

Chronic stress and trauma can impact our health profoundly.

Bowen Therapy works with the wisdom of the autonomic nervous system, revering its role as our constant guardian scanning for safety or danger.

The principle of "less is more" is fundamental.

Bowen Therapy works with your body's natural processes, promoting a gentle path to healing and well-being, to the best of your body's ability.

One of the beauties of Bowen Therapy is that it is so portable.

You can work with a person lying on a massage table, and you can work equally well with someone lying across the tailgate of a ute, on a bush walk, or across the end of a double bed.

You can even work on someone sitting next to you on a plane or at a table in a restaurant, or standing in a department store.
