Our team were back in the beautiful Northern Territory last week, further collaborating with Australian Regional & Remote Community Services to create a range of dementia-specific therapy experiences tailored to communities in the Desert Regions (after previously working with Saltwater mobs).

Throughout our journey, we were guided by elders to locations of cultural significance, including sites for men's and women's business. As a sign of acceptance, one of the elders bestowed upon us cultural names and requested we address them as Auntie and Uncle.

Our therapy library, designed for First Nations residents living with dementia, is truly one of a kind. Find out more about this project at https://neuronsvr.com/2024/11/05/dementia-therapy-for-first-nations-residents/

Our team is at the Aged Care Quality, Safety and Risk Forum in Sydney this week and loving the panels we've listened to so far.

Yesterday we sat in on an incredible session, Uplifting Routine Care Standards Whilst Remaining Compliant, featuring one of our clients Gretta Wallis from Amana Living, Viv Allanson- OAM, Carla Beheram and Michael Bonner. Greta spoke about how Amana Living have implemented NeuronsVR with great success and we walked away from the panel full of new ideas.

After the session, Viv stopped by our stand to test out our NeuronsVR virtual reality therapy sessions for herself (pictured).

Well done to Gretta, Viv, Carla and Michael for an informative session full of laughter and great audience participation! If you're at ACQS today be sure to stop by our stand and try it out for yourself.
