We are looking for a Part Time/Full time NDIS Coordinator to join our team.
In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge within the NDIS sector. At eZ Homecare, we're seeking an experienced Coordinator to support our growing team. You'll play a key role in maintaining a strong client portfolio while building a meaningful and rewarding career in a supportive and values-driven environment.
As a Coordinator, you will take on the responsibility of delivering high-quality services to our NDIS participants. The focus of your role will be on coordinating person-centred supports, empowering clients to achieve their goals, and supporting them to maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Maintain and apply knowledge around NDIS regulations to ensure operational practices are compliant
* Utilising the NDIS portal, claims and service plans/agreements to manage client services
* Active involvement in onboarding new clients
* Build effective relationships to maintain client satisfaction and retention
* Establish and maintain professional, client-focused relationships with stakeholders
* Offer a hands-on approach with clients and be flexible in the role
* Develop skills in providing advice and consultation to NDIS participants and their families/carers
* Engage with, support and manage our clients to ensure high quality service delivery is achieved, and reviews completed
* Undertake administration and data entry tasks as required to support delivery of services
* Contribute to continuous quality improvement of programs and services.
* Experience in coordinating services for individuals with complex psychosocial and disability needs.
* An in-depth understanding of how structural and systemic issues create barriers for individuals with complex needs.
* The ability to work independently, think innovatively and demonstrate initiative.
* Excellent documentation and report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex issues in a coherent and concise way.
*Motivated and dedicated team player who enjoys collaborating, supporting and celebrating success.
* Strong organisational skills including task management, managing competing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Selection criteria:
The successful candidate will have:
* Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with customers, service providers, and various stakeholders.
* Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and NDIS Practice Standards.
* Experience in case management and coordinating individual plans by utilising a range of community-based supports and methods to achieve customer goals.
* Effective management of complex situations/ people and issue resolution with minimal support from management.
* Experience in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
*Demonstrated experience in providing a creative, flexible and person-centred support to people with disabilities.
