The healing power lies within ourselves. All we need to do is find a comfortable place to listen to our inner voice and take a break from constantly searching outward.

Everything we need is already within us. It’s like the surface of a river when it’s moving you can’t see clearly, but when it becomes calm and still everything becomes visible.

The same applies to our mind. Being present and settled is the key to unlocking the inherent healing mechanisms in our body. It reminds us how blessed we are and that we are never truly left behind.

In BCST, we use a light touch, as gentle as a butterfly, to engage with the different tidal movements within the body. These subtle waves are driven by the breath of life, a healing force present since the ignition of our existence, guiding the growth of an embryo.

Sensing this life force requires a strong sense of grounding and presence. That’s why the lightest touch can be the deepest touch. By gently unfolding layers, we help the client reconnect with their body and realign with the healing force of health.

BCST is suitable for those who may not want to talk about their traumatic experiences or find it hard to express their feelings in words. It creates a safe, non-verbal space for your body to fully rest and restore.

There is nothing more special than meeting your body in this profound way, to truly meet yourself at the deepest level. Often, it is the gentle approach that reaches the deepest parts of ourselves. Are you ready to meet yourself in this way?

We are not just physical bodies we also have minds and spirits. When we seek to heal, it’s crucial to balance all three aspects.

BCST can open a door for you to explore through stillness, allowing you to gradually connect with different layers of your being without pushing or overwhelming your system. Healing begins when we first see the wound only then can true healing start.

I remember when I was a student, I asked my tutor, “Since the Long Tide is considered the most healing movement in the body, is there any way we can facilitate it in a client’s body?”

My tutor responded, “No tide is better than another because how can we determine the priority for each client’s body? Only the wisdom within the body knows what’s best. If the wisdom deems the Long Tide unnecessary at the moment, why force it?“

This is one of the key reasons why I appreciate this therapy. We respect the body and remain open to whatever arises, much like stirring the mud in water until it settles, clear and beautiful. 🤲🏻

From a BCST perspective, when I was treating a client who is on antidepressants, I found that I could differentiate between numbness and calmness. These two states are very similar but distinct.

With calmness, the quality of the body is a sense of stillness, yet it feels very potent and fluid. I received a wealth of information from the body itself. In numbness, even though it possesses stillness qualities, it feels suppressed, lacking in fluidity and potency, and the communication from the body seems cut off.

However, the capacity for self-healing persists! As long as you pay attention, holding a safe space, the body will gradually respond to your touch and begin to narrate its story. Our bodies are amazing; regardless of our experiences, there is love and support within ourselves.

I am amazed by the way the body attempts to express limitless love despite limited conditions. It’s so pure and simple, yet profoundly deep. I feel fortunate to witness this unfold and want to remind everyone that health resides within us, as long as we attune to it. It has been there since the moment we came into existence.

We are never alone, we are blessed.
