Hi, I’m Claire and the director of Planot. Thanks for visiting my page. I guess you’re here to find out a little more about the services I have to offer and to see if we’re the right fit. I am a practicing occupational therapist in Perth, Western Australia and my core business is writing medicolegal reports and planning structural home modifications for those that have a sustained catastrophic injury or have a long term disability.
Planot provide peer-reviewed, independent, unbiased medicolegal reports to assist the court in determining the impact of injury or illness on a person's ability to function within the community, including comment on home, work and leisure activities. Assessments are carried out in the client’s home, so functional requirements can be accurately determined.
I have a background in Architecture, studying this prior to my occupational therapy degree. I have a BSc (Architectural Science) and am currently studying a Certificate IV in Residential Building Design. With these qualifications I am able to determine the modifications required to suit individual disabilities, and cater for any future requirements with my OT hat on. I am then able to draw up plans, suitable for building licence and council submission. Please get in touch to see how I can assist you.
Another core service of Planot is education. I can provide education to occupational therapists regarding minor modification through to advanced structural home modifications. I can also provide standards and access education, and general disability awareness education for your organisation.
