Established in 2014, Facilitatrix is a young, innovative company seeking to provide extraordinary services for the aged, vulnerable adults, people with disabilities and their families in Western Australia . Our staff are passionate about empowering these client groups with a view to helping them achieve their personal goals and maximise their independence. We aim to achieve this by providing unique and individualised services to our clients and training to organisations in the disability and aged care sectors that will assist them to provide high quality services. We also seek to partner with like-minded organisations within the community to provide programs with a difference in areas where we have identified gaps in service provision within the sector. Our services include support coordination; case management, allied health services, mentoring, advocacy, consultancy and customised corporate training packages. We strive to be an employer of choice by providing flexible working conditions that promote work/life balance and support mental health and well being. We promote staff autonomy and professional development and enable our employees to work creatively and achieve a high level of job satisfaction.

10th December is Human Rights Day!
It commemorates the anniversary of one of the world's most groundbreaking global pledges: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This landmark document protects the basic rights that every person is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, s*x, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.

At Facilitatrix we believe human rights are Positive, Essential and Attainable - they begin with us, with the small, everyday choices we make from treating others with respect, speaking up against unfairness, and listening to those whose voices are often ignored.

Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPwD). At Facilitatrix, we stand with empathy and respect, supporting equal opportunities and celebrating the strength, resilience and dignity, of every individual.

IDPwD is a United Nations (UN) day observed internationally. It aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

Each year the UN announces a theme to observe for International Day of People with Disability. The annual theme provides an overarching focus on how society can strive for inclusivity through the removal of physical, technological and attitudinal barriers for people with disability. This has been occurring since 1992 when the General Assembly announced 3 December as the International Day of Disabled Persons.

The theme for IDPwD 2025 is Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.
