We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Registered and/or Enrolled Nurse/s to work at our site.
Clinical experience in a practice setting including chronic disease management & immunization clinics will be an advantage but not necessary.
Newly graduated students are highly recommended to apply. You must be able to interact in a professional and friendly manner with doctors and patients. Excellent communication skills and maintaining policies and procedures is mandatory.
Approximately 30-37.5 hours per week (over 4-5 days).
Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
- Immunisations & Vaccinations
- ECG's & Spirometry
- Wound care/dressing
- Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
- Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
- Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans & Health Assessments
- Implementing and practicing infection control
- Identifying & contributing to the development of our patient educational needs
