Not all skin is the same—and neither is skin resurfacing.

This patient received hybrid ablation using both CO2 and Erbium laser technologies to treat deep and surface layers of the skin. In this example, we focused on the upper lip—a common area where fine lines can linger. We can also use this laser to address the lines around the mouth, cheeks,and tighten loose upper and lower eyelids.

By combining two wavelengths, we’re able to induce collagen tightening in the deeper layers while encouraging gentle resurfacing at the top. This dual approach supports smoother texture and fresher, clearer skin—without a one-size-fits-all formula.

Growing Spongy Nose = Rhinophyma is one of those things that can gradually sneak up on you! Noticed when you look at photo flaring red after a few drinks? Or maybe make up and dirt is building in those growing pores. Or maybe those pores are being squeezed a little too often!

Common associated symptoms include recurrent pimples, redness, swelling, enlarging prominent pores, fibrous nodules, and pockets mucus collections.

Rhinophyma is a symptom of phymatous rosacea, we can thank genetics and the environmental triggers that flare it. Namely; heat, sunlight, alcohol, and spicy foods!

Lip filler migrates and can give a unique pout, confusing the natural borders and anatomy of the lip. It can also affect the way someone moves their mouth and speak!

Taking the time and safety measures to gently dissolve unwanted, migrated filler is a skill. What does this usually involve?

In conjunction to completing a full medical assessment to assess for suitability, we also want to explain the complete risks and benefits. The risks include anaphylaxis, which is a life-threatening allergic reaction, so it is important that you are covered!

Upon understanding, what kind of filler you have, dissolving may consist of one, or a few sessions.

Although things can look a little compromising before they look better, We generally wait 2 to 4 weeks before we consider any type of refilling.

Patience is key when it comes to a proper restoration.

10 weeks until Xmas 🎄! MSL team are letting you guys know we are coming into the new year, so booking is essential for getting what you need done in a safe and timely manner!

Think about veins, spots, pigmentation, rosacea, red splotches on the face and body, filler, relaxer, skin tightening. This stuff needs time to settle.

Laser collagen stimulation facials (laser genesis) are probably our favourite, stepping into the event season, as they are completely walk in and walk out. The next day, you just wake up looking airbrushed.
