My passion for my journey of Health dates back to a young age, coming from a family that believed in all the natural benefits of health and wellbeing, from the meal planning, the exercsie programs, and a balanced family life. Im proud to say that I am one of many in my family who have continued on this journey and now my own little family is doing just the same "Monkey see Monkey do"
and why I want to share, motivate and inspire the wider community and beyond. All sessions are held in the southern suburbs of Perth, within the outdoor and indoor Studio home based business in Success / Hammond Park as well as mobile for women, mothers of all fitness levels and men and families. Along with the fitness session's I educate and advise on nutrition, fitness, health and wellbeing and how to incorporate the healthy lifestyle living into your everyday routine, to create balance not restrictions. There are several group classes weekly to join along with one on one personal training with all core elements of Nutrition Movement Sleep Mood. There are programs and packages to suit any need within your lifestyle creating, along with personalised programs in which your guided and coached through to meet your goals and achievements. All clients along with new mums, postnatal mums and rehab patients starting the Nourished Lifestyle Programs, need to provide a doctor's certificate stating they are in a well physical state to begin a fitness program or return to exercise after having their baby or needing to move forward in their rehabilitation and or returning to fitness. Do things at your own pace!

To often people mistaken strength for doing everything and anything, filling their days with happenings to overcome their own problems, fears, traumas or as an avoidance to something and it’s seen as strength “Oh look at him/her being productive and doing this and that during their time of challenges, their so strong”
And too often we’ve seen ourselves as weak or told we’re weak or not smart enough to do that or this so you just keep going and going and filling your days with happenings to keep your mind busy.

When you find yourself wishing you were strong enough to handle this day, or challenge, feel your own heart beating, steady and sure at the centre of you and remember, you already are Strong.

When we create time to sit, defuse and contemplate as we do in our sleep our brains relax and give us our dreams, so at some time in the day we need to disconnect, reconnect and look around us.
From todays chapter of “Simple Abundance” Laurie Colwin says and I wholeheartedly agree and must admit do this, “We must turn off the television and the telephone, hunker down in front of our hearths, and leave our briefcases at the office, if for only one night.
We must march into the kitchen, en famille or with a friend, and find some easy, heartwarming things to make from scratch, and even if it is but once a week, we must gather at the table, alone or with friends or with lots of friends or with one friend, and eat a meal together. We know that without food we would die. Without fellowship life is not worth living.”

Wether you meet yourself at the table or your favourite deck chair in the garden or warm space in your home be sure to meet yourself there with an open mind and heart being completely disconnected from the world outside of your home simply to regain the connection to self and the balance you need to move forward in your week, month, year or even your life. You are the one who holds the power to control what you need for a mindful life and to raise yourself in balanced health and wellbeing.

What’s one way that you create self care ?

The weekend ahead is forecast with rain, rain and more rain do you see this as a gloomy weekend ahead or a weekend to embrace a little self care in the warmth and comfort of your home or finding a cosy little coffee shop to indulge not just your taste buds with a decadent delight but the community that buzzes around watching others connect smile laugh and share - also a form of self care to fill the heart cup.

How do you start your day with your first meal?

Start your day right with protein and good fats!

Protein keeps you full and energised,
as well as being essential for building and repairing tissues, supporting immune function, producing and supporting enzymes and our hormones. It also helps you feel full and satisfied, which can aid in healthy weight management.

While healthy fats support brain function and keep you focused, good fats also support heart health, break down of toxic body fat - that’s right you need to consume good fats to rid the toxic fats!!!! Good fats also support hormone production and help your body absorb essential vitamins and keep you feeling full.

Including plant based foods into your meals ensures your goodness bowl is packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that boost your immune system, reduce inflammation, and protect against chronic diseases. Plus, they add fiber to your diet which aids digestion and keeps you feeling great with your nervous system and mood not to mention keeping you regular if you know what I mean!

All combined, they make a breakfast that powers your morning and sets you up for a day of balance and a day of energy focus and clarity.

I was about to crack and cry while doing this video to share.

I haven’t cried since pre surgery when one of my surgeons touched my hand and we shared womanhood and motherhood laughter and connection.

I’am okay, I’am going to be okay 🫶🏽

The emotions have been sitting inside for days. This is the moment where those emotions and feelings need to be felt, acknowledged released and gratitude given.

This morning I’ve sat with my morning gratitudes and also reflection on how magical our boys really are.

This hysterectomy has been years in the coming. I’ve been mentally and emotionally prepared for it along with ensuring was physically prepared for it as well. I stayed consist with my daily exercises of weight training, fascia release, breathe connection and yoga stretches to ensure my body was Surgically fit but also post surgery was given optimal recovery.

But I was not prepared for the pain yes I was told to expect it to be like a caesarean to which I’ve had three (I have a 18.5yr 16yr and 8.5yr old children) but this pain is different I won’t sugar coat it the pain goes from the abdomen right down tot he va**na. My hysterectomy was performed with my uterus and fallopian tubes being removed via laparoscopically through the va**na, so there’s work that’s been done down there too so yes lots of ouchies!

It brings me to being so grateful for what my body has achieved in 47 years and now this is simply a Restart Reset Realign and a New Way My Body Will Bloom 🌸

I’ve created my eight week mindful movement rehab program which includes the Drs advice and my Nutrition Plan is in place to support from the inside out as well. Already having balance with my nutrition I found I needed to tweak a few things to support me where I’am currently due to meds, gut/digestion and bowel changes but that’s a short term phase that’ll pass through the process it’s meant to.

Women’s health and being in tune with your Body Mind Heart and Soul is one of the loudest volumes you can have for yourself, so listen and feel what your body is telling you and trust it because your worth it!
