🎒 Back to School 2026 – We’re Getting Ready! 📚

We can’t believe how fast this year has flown by!
Dandelions WA is already gearing up for our Back-to-School 2026 campaign, and we’ve set ourselves a big goal:

🎯 17,000 school backpacks filled with essentials for children in need across Western Australia.

✅ The stationery is ordered
✅ Backpacks and lunchboxes are on their way
✅ Volunteer rosters are coming together

💛 Together, we’re giving WA's disadvantaged kids a confident and exciting start to their school year.

🙌 Calling all businesses and corporate teams!
Would your workplace love to give back? Get involved by joining us for a Packing Day at Dandelions WA. It’s a hands-on, high-impact way to support disadvantaged children—and a fantastic team-building opportunity.

Today I had the honour to have volunteering beside me, one staff member, one fellow colleague and two long term patients, and two teens. Along with a sister in law and a surf club friend. All said yes when I invited them to help at Dandelions WA on one of my days. At 42 C today in Malaga that was a challenge but all worked so hard and had a smile on their face. The bribe of treats helped 😉They were amazed by all the work going into our Back to School campaign. And today contributed to 357 children being given the opportunity to start school on time and able to participate in their education. Magic
They were tired, hot and sweaty but their hearts were full 💙
