A common reason for this is lateral epicondylopathy, also known as tennis elbow.
While this is an overuse condition, meaning that the loads placed on the tendons have exceeded what they can tolerate, there are other risk factors for developing lateral epicondylopathy.
A recent article found that smoking and high cholesterol were risk factors. 👎
So, it is essential to have strong forearm muscles, but don’t forget about other healthy lifestyle factors that can also contribute to injuries! ✅
