In Loving Memory of Dr. C. A. Raman 🤍
Today, with heavy hearts, we honour the life and legacy of our beloved friend, teacher, and healer, Dr. C. A. Raman, who passed away on 10 November 2025.
For decades, Dr. Raman has been the heart of our Kerala Ayurvedic Retreat that we visit each year. A wise, humble, and deeply compassionate soul who touched the lives of those who had the privilege of meeting him.
His knowledge, generosity, and devotion to authentic Ayurveda shaped not only the treatments there, but the way so many of us understand healing itself.
From all of us at Journeys of the Spirit, we share our deepest condolences with Dr. Raman’s family, and the countless people around the world who carry him in their hearts.
Each member of our team has their own memory, their own moment of being seen, supported, or uplifted by Dr. Raman. We are forever grateful for the unique Welcoming Ceremony that he offered our retreaters.
Personally, Dr. Raman was the first person I looked forward to seeing each time I returned to Kerala. He always called me his sister. His passing marks the end of an era for me, and I am deeply saddened by this loss. He contributed so much to my life and to the Journeys community I have shared his wisdom with.
I received the news while standing beside the oldest tree in Prague.. 800 years old. As I read the message I began to cry, and a single autumn leaf fell gently at my feet. In that moment, I felt Dr. Raman’s presence… a quiet reminder that his spirit continues to move through the world with the same grace he lived by.
May his light continue to guide all who were blessed to know him.
May his teachings continue to ripple outward.
Namaste 🙏🏼
