Salt & Pepper Squid |

Our favourite easy meal that feels like takeaway but is easy to whip up at home ⬇

Fresh squid tossed in gluten free flour that’s been made a little more interesting with the addition of Chinese five spice, white pepper and salt.

Lightly fry and enjoy dipped in a condiment of your choice (we love .gourmet – not sponsored, just delicious).

💥Gluten Free LA 📍

Nestled in the south of sunny California and home to icons such as the Hollywood Sign and Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles has a reputation for being a health-conscious hub of film and television.

And luckily for those with or non-coeliac gluten sensitivity, this reputation holds true in the form of a stack of 100% Gluten Free restaurants, bakeries and cafes.

Though we don’t doubt that there are some other awesome eating venues that cater for coeliac disease well, we’ve stuck to those that are totally GF here for peace of mind.

There is nothing we love more than a long lunch in a beautiful location, and is one of our favourites.

We always email and phone before booking, and have been time and time again with no issues.

We can’t wait to visit and try new Head Chef Travis Crane’s menus soon.

GLUTEN FREE MEXICAN

📌Location: Melbourne, Australia

Cuisine: Mexican
Food: 3/5
Service: 3/5
Range of gluten free: 5/5
100% gluten free? Yes

“When you walk down the steps into the heart of Bodega Underground, your shoulders can’t help but relax a little as you’re met with the poster-clad walls, deep-red lighting and playful papel picado decor. It is clear from the moment you take your seat, that this is a place to have fun, eat well, talk loudly, and fill up on casual Mexican dishes before hitting the theatre (a mere two-minute walk away) or heading into the city.

With a menu that is 100% gluten free, coeliac diners can sit back and put the hypervigilance down for a little while - knowing they are in good hands and able to take their pick of the entire menu. A mix of share plates and tacos, Bodega also pride themselves on being able to cater for vegan, vegetarian, nut-free, onion-free and garlic-free customers.”

This recipe is an oldie but a goodie that we keep coming back to - ‘s dumplings using cauliflower flour.🥟

If you’ve got a little time on your hands to make the dough yourself, this is a great way to choose your own adventure and create a filling exactly to your taste.

We’ve gone for the classic beef and ginger on this occasion, but also like to mix it up with vegetarian fillings such as sh*take mushroom and tofu.

Head to the for the website, and let us know if you whip them up!
