His background studies in Human Movement (UWA) sparked in him an unquenchable desire to know the deeper workings of our existence in this life. Looking for more discipline, mentally, physically, and spiritually led him to spend time with the Sannyasins (The Seekers of Truth) and a whole new doorway of experience and spiritual truths came flooding in. Steve has spent the past 27 years integrating his knowledge of Western Exercise Science with Eastern Spiritual practices. Steve’s clients have been across a broad spectrum of our society, from;- expecting mothers, - tired mother’s balancing a new born and work, - menopausal and osteoporotic women, - the average joe wanting to maintain fitness, - junior athletes in state development squads, - teaching golf biomechanics and sport psychology to Como High School Golf Academy Students, - teaching Certificate 3 & 4 in Health and Fitness at The West Coast College of Fitness, - training Corporate Executives holistic stress management techniques, whilst managing the InterContinental Hotel Resort Burswood Recreation facilities, - seniors suffering from degenerative diseases, anxiety attacks, heart disease and arthritis, to - mentally and physically preparing candidates for the Police and Military entrance exams This broad range of experience and study in the search for the best practices has led Steve to create a “Nourishing Movement System” that embodies, eastern spiritual philosophies, Zen mindfulness techniques, Yoga, Qi gung, Martial Arts conditioning with western exercise science covering, dance conditioning, Pilates, prehabilitation - rehabilitation in the form of corrective exercise techniques based on the FMS screening system. Being holistic in nature this system allows the individual to not only reconnect and repair their body, but to realign, rebalance and reintegrate as one their mind, body and spirit.
