Our Story

Sarah has been a practicing Physiotherapist for over 25 years and a Pilates practitioner for over 20. As an athlete herself Sarah understands the impact that injuries have on day-to-day living and performance. With years of experience she has crafted a unique method of incorporating Pilates and functional movement into her treatment methods. Always striving to be at the forefront of injury rehabilitation, management and recovery Sarah has added the discipline of Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI) to her repertoire.

ATSI consists of a multi-session protocol of deep, slow myofascial manipulation, coupled with movement re-education.

ATSI unwinds the strain patterns residing in the body’s locomotor system, restoring balance, alignment, length and ease. Common strain patterns can come from many areas in our everyday lives. Most of which are difficult to avoid - sitting for long periods at work, on planes or in cars. Bad postural habits picked up when we are young or from hours spent on a hand held device.

Freeing and repositioning the fascial fabric, along with re-integrating the movement patterns so that they stay easily in their proper place is at the core of ATSI.
