A heartfelt thank you to Lynette Buick, our Golden Human from Hope Wollondilly Op Shop, for donating a wheelchair to Firebird Support Services!

This generous gift will directly support members of the Wollondilly community who are disabled & isolated using our purpose built wheelchair transport vehicle.

We also encourage you to visit their op shop — it’s overflowing with donations thanks to the generosity of local supporters. Some items are free, and others are pay-what-you-can, check in with their volunteers to know what’s currently on offer.

👏🏻 We joined fellow operators, passionate locals, and the Wollondilly Shire Council’s Tourism & Business Support Team for Tourism Connect—a fantastic event designed to strengthen ties across the region’s tourism sector.

Firebird Support Services is proud to share this important event hosted by The Blue Butterfly Institute and The Bathhouse — a must-attend session with former detective Kristi McVee, dedicated to keeping our children safe.

📅 Wednesday 1 October
📍 The Bathhouse
⏰ Doors open 6:30pm | Session starts 7:00pm

Kristi will guide parents through:
🔹 Recognising grooming red flags
🔹 Understanding sextortion risks
🔹 Using practical scripts for tough conversations
🔹 Implementing safeguards you can use TONIGHT
