Basing your meals around this simple strategy can make healthy eating so much more realistic.
Some other tips include:
- going for whole foods
- choosing complex carbs - sweet potato, brown rice, whole meal bread and pasta
- reducing sugar - this could look like opting for dark chocolate 90% over milk chocolate or using some honey/good quality maple syrup or dates (in moderation) to sweeten things or when baking healthy treats
