This little project took a lot longer than initially planned. Partly because we had a tea tree to negotiate with in order to make space, and our heater took a little longer in the docks to arrive.

But good things come to those who wait? We think so. With help from and we were able to create this beautiful little sauna nestled in the trees.

Shou Sugi ban is a traditional Japanese technique where timber is charred with fire to make it more durable, weather-resistant, and beautifully textured.
Burnt to last, and to look damn good.

2025 Baby. Its been a but like the tide down here at Lonnie, more highs than lows…

We have been so fortunate to have the support of the local community who have embraced us with open arms.

From Surfing comps to Indented Head sunrise, we have had our fair share of day trips, but there truly is no place like home.

We bought a big one! At this point I judge a sauna by how many horses we could fit inside. (3 in this case)
And a beautiful sauna stove from Iki that we cannot wait to test.

Just a little post to thank everyone for supporting our little saunas. We hope to make things bigger and better in 2026. Happy hogmanay 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, And Happy New Year when it comes……
