One week ago today we closed out our outdoor season with what can only be described as a truly iconic CONNECT gathering at Mt Duneed Estate.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be there on the day as I was unwell, and it truly broke my heart to miss such a special moment with this community.

But what unfolded in my absence reminded me exactly why CONNECT exists.

Our incredible crew stepped forward without hesitation. They held space, supported one another, cared for every single person who showed up, and carried the energy of the morning with so much heart, presence and generosity. You didn’t just “fill in” for me — you embodied everything this community stands for.

To each of you who guided conversations, welcomed new faces, helped behind the scenes, and ensured the morning flowed so beautifully… thank you. Your leadership, kindness and willingness to step up meant more than I can put into words.

CONNECT has never been about one person. It has always been about community — people showing up for each other.

And last week, you showed exactly what that looks like.

I am so deeply grateful to every one of you for protecting the spirit of this space and caring for the community the way you did. It means the world to me.

Thank you for leading when I couldn’t be there.
Thank you for believing in what we are building together.

What happened at Mt Duneed Estate will always be part of the CONNECT story.

This morning we celebrated our final Ocean Grove session for the season—the place where it all began 3.5 years ago

A huge thank you to our host Nat and facilitator Charlotte for a gentle yoga practice that left us feeling grounded, joyful, and connected.

Thank you to every attendee for your laughter, openness, and for being the heartbeat of this incredible community. Here’s to connection, fun, and the memories we’ve created together

Oh Ocean Grove… you really showed up for us this morning. 🤍

With the sound of the waves rolling in and the sky slowly waking up, we gathered on Ocean Grove Main Beach for our second last CONNECT of the season. There was something extra special in the air — that quiet knowing that these mornings are never just “an event”… they’re moments that stay with you.

A heartfelt thank you to our beautiful facilitator Joseph, who guided us through powerful, grounding breathwork. The way you held space allowed everyone to soften, release and reconnect — to breath, to body, to each other. It was steady, intentional and exactly what we needed.

And to every single person who showed up — thank you. Thank you for choosing yourself. Thank you for choosing community. Thank you for continuing to weave the threads of connection that make this movement what it is.

This truly amazing community is the magic.
One more to go for the season… let’s make it count.

We’ve never had more tools to communicate… and yet, never felt more disconnected.

Is AI part of the solution — helping us connect, belong, and feel seen?
Or does it risk replacing real human presence with convenience and screens?

At The Connect Initiative, we believe the answer lies in creating real, human-centric communities — and this is just the beginning.
