Pause. Breathe. Listen to what was just said or thought. Your soul is trying to tell you something important.

Bone and veggie broth are nutrient rich foods that support gut, joint, and overall health thanks to their minerals, amino acids, and plant compounds. They’re easy to digest, promote nourishment and healing, and make a simple, comforting addition to a healthy diet.

Becoming a new mum is a beautiful, overwhelming, tender, and exhausting season, all at once. Journaling can become a quiet anchor in the middle of it.

When days blur together and sleep comes in fragments, journaling gives you a place to pause. A place where you don’t have to be “on,” strong, or grateful every second. Just honest.

You can write about the tiny moments you don’t want to forget, the way your baby curls their fingers around yours, the sleepy smiles, the first time they recognise your voice. These pages become time capsules you’ll treasure later, especially on days when everything feels hard.

Journaling is also a safe space for the emotions no one prepares you for. The love so big it hurts. The grief for your old life. The guilt, the doubt, the loneliness, the joy. Putting these feelings into words doesn’t make you a bad mum, it makes you a human one.

There’s no right way to do it. Some days it might be a full page. Other days just one sentence.

In a season where so much of you is given to someone else, journaling is a small way to give something back to yourself. A reminder that your story matters too, not just as a mum, but as ‘you’.

If you’re a new mum reading this: be gentle with yourself. And if you can, pick up a pen. One day, you’ll look back and be grateful you did 🤍

Thank you 💝
