A really big part of my "In Great Shape" journey was about "Choosing my Hard"
For more than a decade I struggled with my health including my weight. It seemed that no matter what I did, what I ate and the amount of exercise I took part in, my body still struggled.
And then I stumbled upon "Bridget's Healthy Kitchen" a program filled with incredible recipes, outstanding education and a community of supportive people.
I had to choose my hard, stay in the same shape I'd been for years OR make changes by following a well proven program?
My choice was to make a change, and then be the change.
Now, at almost 46yrs having shed more than 35kg I have taken up employment in a busy bottle shop. During an average shift of 6hrs I can do roughly 10 000 steps, with many of them carrying cartons and wine. I could never have imagined having the ability to carry out this type of work.
I'm so glad I chose my hard, because it's honestly no longer hard but simply my everyday lifestyle.
