🌍 World Health Day 🌍
Everyone deserves the basic human rights of adequate and safe health care.
We are so lucky to live in the country we do, with the access to healthcare we have ❤️
Help Healthy North Coast by filling out their health survey which will help in the delivery of better health care to our community.

Today is World Health Day.

For us here at Healthy North Coast the day is a reminder of our focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of health services for everyone on the North Coast, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes.

It also reinforces our commitment to improving the coordination of health services, and increasing access and quality support for people.

This year’s theme for World Health Day is ‘My Health… My Right’.
This theme was chosen to champion the right of everyone, everywhere to have access to quality health services, education, and information, as well as safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent working and environmental conditions, and freedom from discrimination.

To ensure we continue to deliver better health outcomes for our North Coast Communities we're asking you to complete our Better Health Community Survey to tell us about your experiences. You can complete the survey until 14 April here

🏆 Rising Star in Wound Care 🏆

A huge congratulations to our Clinical Nurse Specialist, Molly who was awarded the International Rising Star in Wound Care award through ActivHeal.
Molly has achieved many wonderful accomplishments in her career and brings so much to wound care and lymphoedema patients across the Mid North Coast.
Thank you to Phil & Caitlin from Team Medical who so thoughtfully personally delivered her beautiful prizes.

We celebrate our lymphoedema patients everyday, but more so this week. This week we will take time to raise awareness to Lymphoedema and what it means for so many.
We have a very proud team of ALA accredited of lymphoedema practitioners 💜

Today marks the start of Lymphoedema Awareness Week (4-10 March), a chance to raise awareness of lymphoedema to promote early intervention - our best chance of appropriate management of this chronic condition and improved quality of life.
